Why I'm getting E5 error code on my Haier refrigerator

Are you sure it it a refrigerator and a refrigerated AC unit?

Super General AC error code e5 "E5" - Fan Motor Problem: Occurs when the over current from the fan motor is detected. Solution: Verify Power (Voltage/Amps).

When the Haier refrigerator shows an error code, try this before replacing any parts or taking the refrigerator apart...
- Power the Haier refrigerator OFF for 10 minutes, then power back ON. (Unplug the refrigerator for 10 minutes) -
The error code may disappear after a reset is completed.
- If after removing power to the refrigerator in an attempt to reset, the error code comes back,the freezer fan is bad and need to be replaced.

I understand that your Electrolux refrigerator is showing an "E5" error code and not cooling. "E5" typically stands for Showroom mode, you can press and hold the "Up" and "Down" keys simultaneously and that should restart your refrigerator back to normal operation. Bsically, not managing to fill within "normal" time

I have the same error on my U-Line beverage refrigerator. U-Line said the error indicates the thermostat was out of range for over 12 hours (perhaps due to a recent power outage). My fridge seems to be working just fine so I am not planning on calling a technician until something more serious breaks down.
