I have trouble charging a Acer icona one 7 tablet, any ideas?

first of all these tablets take a long time to charge. second check the cable were you plug into tablet to make sure the holding clips are working and take hold. My first choice and most inexpensive is to buy a new charger. Also check plug in port for damage. look at warranty to see if it is still covered and get replaced. />

My nokia 1112 is not admitting charge, changed the battery abnd the charger but not working

Hello,

Since You have changed the charger and the battery and the phone still does not charge then It means the charging/connection port of the phone is bad. And the best solution is to replace the port of the phone. To replace the port is quite simple. First You can charge the battery in another phone temporarily while You get the connection port of the phone fixed. To replace the connection/charging port, please follow the steps below:
  1. First remove the back cover and battery.
  2. Unclip the front cover then remove the four circled screws
  3. You can now remove the LCD frame. Another ribbon connector (circled) needs to be disconnected. This attaches like a plug and socket. Simply lever it up, away from the phone, to unplug it. The LCD is now free.
  4. Then You take out the 4 screws that are around the phone,
  5. That should release the panel of the phone out,
  6. Disconnect the connection port of the phone and replace it with a new one,
  7. Then You reverse the process to reassemble the television back together.

  8. Hope this helped. Thank You for using FixYa!!!

My phone will not charge, I have a feeling that it is a problem with the phone charger itself, beacuse it will connect my car charger. This is really annoying, I have to play around with the wire until it...

Hello,

The problem actually is not from the charger, it is from the charging port of the phone.
The pins that are in the charging port are wearing out that is why you have to adjust the charger before it will stay in.

The only solution to that is for you to replace the charging port.
To replace the charging port, get the appropriate screwdrivers, then you remove the phone cover, the sim and the battery, then you unscrew the phone, try to separate it apart to locate the charging port, then you replace it with a new one, after replacing it, reassemble the phone back together and it will be in good condition once again.

Take care and good luck.

Trying to charge my sony ericsson k800 mobile and it won't charge. Cannot get 'optimised charging' to appear. Battery now completely flat

Hi, you will need to get another charger. Charger might be faulty and will need to be replaced.

If after replacing charger and still does not charge, then the charging port where you plug in the charger is damaged and needs to be replaced.

Take care.

RAZR2 V9

Hey Happytm,

Is this a V9m? How old is your unit?

If it is, there should be a warranty replacement for lost charging port covers (as they had a habit of falling off).

Hope this helps,
cHiPz.
