All 3 wires will provide power to the windings but only 2 are energized at any given time. the 3rd wire provides feedback to the esc. Swapping any 2 wires will reverse the rotation of the motor. Hope it works out for you!

also the older stick handsets are set up in reverse, no idea why though. Pistol controllers are known to work well. You could try www.rcuniverse.com for help on setting things up with your speed controller. thats all i can tell you unfortunately. i hope some of this is useful to you Vinny

1996 70 hp johnson outboard ,,need to know why the motor rise up when I put it in reverse and give a little speed to back up, and when I let off the speed the motor goes back down.

In reverse, the propellor is pulling the motor away from the boat, this is the same direction as the motion you get when you tilt the motor up for transport. Check the motor mount, especially the motor tilt mechanism to make sure nothing is excessively worn, bent or loose. Maybe the latch that's supposed to hold the motor in the run position isn't working right - that could be bad news if it lets the motor drop down while the boat is on the trailer.

Problem to connect walkera cb100 esc controller connector

there are only 3 combinations on connecting esc to brushless motor. if nothing indicated on wires you can try each combinations of 3 wire by keeping 1 wire choosen and trying rest 2 wires. dont worry you wont burn anything. only motor runs on other way.or it wont move but makes noise.

When I plug my new Eflight 32 motor into the battery I get a constant beeping sound and the motor will not initialize. It was working until I unpluged it after binding the controller to my hand held...

Check your TX throtle stick is completly down. ESC beep if they detect signal from throtle channel on start.
Other cause could be you plug ESC in wrong channel in your RX

I want to connect 2 brushless motors tegether mechanically to get a long thin motor. Will it work ??

If the two motors are the same model, or are at least designed to run at the same rpm, then yes it will work. Achieving a very close alignment of the two shafts will be the hard part. I assume the motors have an exposed shaft at both ends and that you will use some kind of collar to connect the left end of the shaft of one motor to the right end of the other. You will need to mount both motors to a block or bracket of some kind. Use rubber grommets or something similar to mount the motors to the block pretty loosely so that you don't exert misaligning pressure on the two shafts. You should get nearly double the torque and power that you would get from one motor. If it runs slowly or obviously has low torque, the alignment is not good enough. Good luck.

Hurricane 550 battery problem

Hi All,
Thanks for your reply.

Finally, I've solved the problem. The battery that I've got previously produced 42 volts each and I connected two in series configuration. So the voltage add up together become 84 V for ESC.
That's why I can only fly for twice and it didn't last for long. The batteries were bubble up and really hot, basically, I busty it. Besides, the ESC is cooked.

So, I bought two brand new battery packs ( 3C 11.1V 3300mAh) and an ESC. The ESC has built in switching mode. One of the socket from ESC is connected to the switch with black and red wires were wrong way around. After I've swap it everything works. By using this way, there is no needed the extra 9V batter pack for receiver.

Your Sincerely,
Joe

RIVA AQUARAMA PROBLEM

You should never run the boat out of water! The shafts heat up in the shaft tube and freeze up. Then your done.
I own a company "H2O Hobbies"
We sell ready to run Riva boats such as yours. Many other people sell these same boats from the same manufacturer in vietnam. BUT - These are display all models.
My company works with the manufacturer to create each model with removable covers to access the motor etc... inside. The models are made waterproof by lining the inside of the hull with fiberglass. We use high quality brushless motors (1) with hardened steel u-joint coupling to the shaft which is 4mm stainless steel and attach a beril-copper balanced propeller. This setup is bulletproof. It took about a year of testing several different components to find the right set of matched components to get the best performance and reliability.
We use 2 7.2v battery packs in series = 14.4v.
See youtube videos - search scalemodelpowderful.
My suggestion is to put your boat on a shelf because that is what is was made for and buy one from us which is waterproof and accessable to work on if necessary. Go to H2OHobbies.com or call me 612-325-2345 - Mark I am the Director of product development. I build the RC boats myself.
