I have an old Sears garage door opener 139.663900 that went dead this week.

The manual button light went out, sort of suggesting a logic problem. Both the manual door opener button, my remote receiver button, and the remote controls do not activate the opener motor. The light on the manual door button is out, which sort of makes me suspect a fuse which I can't find is out or the logic board died. Any suggestions for returning this 1/3 horse opener to life?

It definitely had power. When I unplugged and plugged it in, the lights went on. I swapped it for another unit and the replacement unit worked fine. I put the old one on the bench and it worked there. I guess that eliminates the logic board assumption.

We cannot use any of our remotes to open the garage door but the button on the inside will open it. we put a new battery in one of the remotes and that didn'twork. any suggestions

If the light in the wall control is flashing you need to press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds. If this is not the case it is most likely the logic board.

Old 1/3 hp sears craftsman garage door opener

There is no way to defeat that timer. It is programmed into an integrated circuit on the logic board.

Sears 1/2hp thinks it is not all the way up and will not go down

It is really a common problem for lightning or electrical surges to take out the logic board. Big expense too.

Garage door blinks 10 times, both sensor lights are off

sounds like two problems. you've disengaged the door and you can't manually pull down? try taking arm off door. As far as eyes go, need more info. If both lights out, you have a break in wire or bad logic board. Need more info.

Garage door went on "vacation"

Try to remove the power cord. Be careful if you have to climb a ladder! Reinsert.
Here are instructions for vacation mode:
If you have a three buttom wall panel, one of the small buttons should be the lock button, push this button and hold it for a couple of seconds until the LED on the wall panel stops blinking.

Good Luck!
