Hi, at a guess I would say that your batteries possibly no longer hold a charge. If the scooter has been provided for you get the organisation who gave it to you to check it over, they should service it for you.
There is a link below for the website that provides an owners manual, this may help you troubleshoot the problem
If you need anything else please post another query.

SOURCE: have a harsh jerking movement while using

This is a common problem often caused by the potentiometer(pot) in the centre of the Wigwag (Accelerator.) This part takes a lot of “abuse” and the pot causes an intermittent electrical connection resulting in a very jerky ride. Try spraying a contact cleaner spray in the pot but most often the potentiometer will need to be replaced by a technician. Regards Chris…

I can leave it plugged in for 24 hours and not have a full charge. Is this the batteries or the on board charger

There are a few things to consider with this type of problem.

How old are the batteries. When did you last have them tested. Is the charger output ok on load (test with an amp clamp type meter). is the charger the correct one for these batteries, small output chargers take longer to charge big batteries. Are all connection tight on batteries and anything to do with the charging circuit. Plug and socket type connection do fail on poor connections. Check voltage on batteries when on charge and off charge to see if the charger voltage is getting through to the batteries.

My pride mobility victory scooter will not charge

You must charge each battery individually with an automotive NON automatic style battery charger until each battery has at least 10 bolts each. The scooter charger cannot pull up a battery with less than 10 volts.

My victory 4 mobilty wont charge the green light is very faint/the charger was tested working.so why wont my scooter charge

make sure battery cables are secure at battery terminals and clean.how old are the batteries. If the batteries run down fast they are no good.a good way to test them is put scooter against some thing solid and go forward. If the battery indicator drops to o the batteries are no good.It takes about 10 hours to charge the batteries

Set to move at 8 mph on full charge speed set to max only moving at 1 mph or less using battery charge in 20 mins

Hi, Sadly that sounds like your batteries have called it a day however please check your charger as this can have a fault and this can make your batteries appear weak and the battery teminal connections, are they loose ?. Check your manual as I think you can fit 12V 40Amp batteries to this scooter.

Please leave feedback if my advice helps.

Wont hold a charge. Batteries checked out ok. Could it be a short? Is this common?

If the batteries have been volt tested OK and they wont hold a charge, check your charger to make sure it is functioning properly. If there was a short, the scooter most likely would not work or would give a flashing light code. Batteries typically will not hold a charge when they are damaged, have been sitting unused for a while or if there is a mechanical issue that is causing dtrain on the motors. Check the air pressure, bearings and ensure there is no noise or vibration that may indicate a motor failure. If all those check OK, replace the batteries.
Good luck!

We put new batteries in it. We had them tested so

Hi. Have you checked the free-wheel lever is in the correct position?
Is one of the battery lights or any LED flashing? If so, count the flashes between the pauses, and let us know.

Good luck. Neil.

Scooter is running slow

Have the batteries tested with a load tester. Usually when it starts to move slow it means the batteries are going.
