Hi there, my name is Lisa and I'd be happy to help. I have checked the specifications for the Officejet 7210, and from what I can see, 9x4 envelope printing is not supported. Here are the 4 supported envelope sizes:

U.S. 10: 105 x 241 mm (4.125 x 9.5 inches)
A2: 111 x 146 mm (4.4 x 5.8 inches)
DL: 110 x 220 mm (4.3 x 8.7 inches)
C6: 114 x 162 mm (4.5 x 6.4 inches)

I hope this explains what the 9x4 isn't working.

Feel fee to take a look at the specifications using the following link:
Printer Specifications for HP Officejet 7200 All in One Printer Series

I hope this helps.
I work on behalf of HP.

How do i print envelopes on the HP 1350?

  • Remove all paper from the paper tray.
  • Slide an envelope into the tray, with the envelope flap up and to the left (print side down), until it stops.
  • Adjust the paper-width guide against the envelope.
  • Be careful not to bend the envelope.
  1. In Microsoft Word, click Tools , click Letters and Mailings , and then click Envelopes and Labels .
  2. In the Envelopes and Labels dialog box, click the Envelopes tab.
  3. Click Options .
  4. From the Envelope size drop-down list, select the required paper size. If you created a custom paper size, select the new custom paper size from the drop-down list.
  5. Click OK , and then click Close to close the Envelopes and Labels dialog box.
  6. Click File , and then click Print to print the envelope.

When trying to print #9 envelopes on our Phaser 8560, I'm not given #9 as an option. Is there a way to force it to print to #9's? It seems crazy to me that such a common envelope isn't listed.

In the envelope selection you should also have a custom size so you can input the #9 dimensions and have it print. You just select custom size and input the length and width of your envelope.

I can't fit my 9'' x 12'' enveope in my hpdeskjet 920c printer

That printer will only support media that is up to 8.5" wide.

Click here, scroll down to Supported Media Sizes.

To solve this dilemma, either purchase a printer that supports wide media, or print on to a label and affix that label to your envelope.

Print Envelopes on HP Photosmart 7280

This is a paper size problem with the software, go to page setup and under "Paper Size" choose "User Defined" or "Custom" and fill in all of the dimensional information about the envelope and save with a name you will recognize. Now, when you print make sure you have selected the envelope from the paper list and you should be good to go. If you need further assistance, click "Ask Me" and I will answer your request as soon as I can.

Printing envelopes

If you look closely at the very front of the paper tray, just to the left of the sliding thing that keeps the paper from drifting out of the front, you will see a couple of illustrations showing how to position envelopes in the paper feeder. For regular letter-sized envelopes, or even greeting card envelopes, place them face down with the top of the envelope pointing to the left as you are facing the printer. The return address area should be away from you. Position the envelope all the way to the right side of the paper feeder, then gently slide the envelope all the way back until it is stops so that it is accessible by the paper feeder. Bear in mind that it will be flipped over when it comes out. To avoid wasting an envelope, do a trial print on a piece of paper to make sure you understand the positioning correctly. Good luck!

Hp psc 2410 photosmart

marglet, Turn-off and unplug the printer for a couple of minutes...there may be improper setting stuck in the printer memory. then plug it in and try to print the envelopes..if that doesn't work...Make sure there aren't any custom print settings causing this. Lastly...Try updating the drivers. Download the latest drivers from the site. http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/search/search_request.do?pageName=HP+printers_land Good Luck, Tim
