SOURCE: replacement console

Unplug unit then remove the upper console, their are 4 allen bolts holding it udder the console their is a panel held by 4 phillips head screws also remove them . Look inside the compartment and their should be two connections, disconnect them. Now pull console off its tower. Lay it upside down on a thick towel remove all phillip head screws you'll notice where the emergency stop button is connected. I have found that this connection 7 out of 10 times is causing the problem. Buy cutting the lead connector stripping the wires and soldering back on the male connection will resolve the problem. If not their is a emergency stop kit may be purchased and replace. The only other thing that may cause the problem is the function key pad itself. Try the first solution if your not good in soldiering go to a computer shop , t v shop they should be able to do this very quickly for while your at let the check the switch itself.

Testimonial: "This guy really does know his stuff. I am very pleased I was able to fix the treadmill with absolutely no expense. I simply followed the clear instructions and the machine was up and running in an hour. I would rate this expert 10/10 but actually he warrants 11! maxtreadmill yo da man !"

Belt keeps slipping on treadmill and belt is all the way back

If you have adjusted the tension on your belt to the max, it is more than likely time to replace your running belt. The running belt naturally stretches over time. I would suggest replacing the belt and flipping your deck. If the deck has already been flipped once, then you would need to replace the deck as well. Unplug the treadmill. Locate the console key and place the safety or reset key into the treadmill console. Replace any parts that need replacing, or is large enough to trigger with a pencil eraser or Q-tip. Plug the treadmill plug back into the wall. Use the Q-tip to press the reset button. It may be necessary to hold the reset button down for a few seconds. "CL11" will appear in the display of the treadmill.

Press the reset button one more time with the Q-tip. "CL21" should appear on the screen. Press the enter key. The display will change again and show "CL22." Keep pressing the enter key until the numbers cycle through to the number "CL26." Press enter one more time. The letter E should appear on the display screen.

Press enter twice more. The letters "SS" should appear on the screen. When this happens, press the start/stop key. Making sure to keep well away from the tread, press enter to start the treadmill. The treadmill will start on its own. The treadmill will stop on its own after a few seconds. When it stops, press the power key two times. Remove the safety key and put in a safe place. Your treadmill is reset.move on to the next step.

Heart rate Monitor not working on Life Fitness 95Ti Life Pulse

Replacement Parts for Fitness Exercise Equipment at SPORTSMITH

I would suggest removing your heart rate grips and inspecting the contact leads for rust or any other corrosion. This is very commonly an issue and can be resolved by either cleaning the contacts or simply replacing the parts. Using the following link, and your serial number, you should be able to find the contact grips if you end up needing them.

I bought a used Life Fitness 95T from a fitness center, the display displayed "please replace safety switch to continue workout". The Magnetic switch is in place but the unit does bot recognize...

If the console takesbatteries, replace them. If this does not work or your console does not requirebatteries, check the reed switch or optic sensor. Reed Switch:Unplug the treadmill and remove the motor hood cover. The reed switch is mountedon the frame next to the front roller pulley. There is a magnet glued into thefront roller pulley. When adjusting the reed switch, make sure it is pointingdirectly at the magnet. Move the tip of the reed switch within 1/8" of themagnet. Also, check to see that the wire is not damaged, and is connected tothe console. 11_30_2011_11_41_39_am.gifThen tight the flexible cords from keypanel vs display board( clean the keypane with spray from contact cleaner. then tight the connector from display board vs main motor controller. Remember the main motor controller has aprox 90% of functions of any treadmills. See the block diagram that I did for people like you, And now you will get powerful strong resultant what is wrong. sincerely. Good luck.

finally 2 options: 1) display faulty 2) Main motor controller of course after you did the first step.
