Error 4 means an I2C4 communication error detected by the Viper BGA (Ball Grid Array). Basically it means you have a bad signal board . On a LCD the SSB controls everything it detected an error and shut itself down. Easiest thing to do is Order a replacement SSB. 310432842641 this is the 12NC number for the SSB or u can look it up online by model. Just good luck on finding a replacement cheap !! The removal of the cable was too see if the SSB was the error and it was.

it sounds as though there is a problem on the main board and yes,it will be expensive to repair.i would guess between 400 to 600 possibly more depending on how much damage is on the main board. i know this isnt what you want to hear but i have a friend that has a tv repair shop and i know he gets big money for repairs on big screens.

SOURCE: My Kenmore sewing machine model number is 17630,

Take a look at the stitch length dial. If you turn that dial counter clockwise (to about 7 o'clock), it will set to stretch stitch. Then all of the stretch stitch features will work. When you want to go back to straight stitching, just move that dial back to what ever stitch length you wish.

Why does my PAC unit continuously flash PF at random and simultaneous intervals?

Wild guess this is a portable air machine? with a tube out a window? Wild guess, there's a condensate "leak" where it shouldn't be. The tank drain might be blocked for some reason. or level of the machine or coils are dirty in spite of the filter.

I have purchased an Ikelite AF 35 strobe to use with my Sony DSC-TX1 camera and underwater housing. Even with the strobe set to the lowest setting, the photos I take with the camera set to 'housing on' are...

akdenny, have an af35 myself and know from experience the issue is very likely to be the way you have the block out for the cameras flash. if you block it by having the tape inside the housing it confuses the af35 to fire at a higher setting. from what i can gather it senses the strength of the camera flash and adjusts. I get the best results with the blockout on the camera supplied diffuser, stops the flash camera going forward and gives plenty of light to get the af35 to fire right. to blockout i just use some black tape , fabric tape seems to stick well.
you will still need to set the auto level setting.
hope it works out, i find it a great flash. and the guys at ikelite very very helpful.

Flash doesnt operate on any flash mode

Hi,

Follow the steps below to check if the issue can be resolved.
Check if the battey is fully charged.
Charge the battery in the Camera and check if the flash charge lamp is flashing. Once the Lamp goes out the Flash in the Camera gets charged.
Once it is charged, press the Up Arrow button in the Camera continuously to select the Forced Flash which will strobe regardless of the surrounding brightness.
Make sure that the Camera is not in TWILIGHT or LANDSCAPE scene selection mode.
Make sure that the MODE and REC MODE is not set to BURST3 or BRKTG from the Menu settings.
Change the REC MODE and SCENE SELECTION Mode to enable the Flash in the Camera.

If the issue persists, service may be required.

Thanks for using Fixya Support.
We wish you a happy Christmas and New Year!!!

Pentax K110d flash trigger problem, I have 2 flash trigger strobes set up and a flash on the hot shoe of the camera, but with shutter release the trigger strobe lights fire but do not show in the pic, only...

Your camera uses a PTTL flash system. That means the flash on the camera fires a "pre-flash" to set the exposure and then the main flash. Your flash trigger strobes are reacting to the pre-flash and firing before the shutter activates. This all happens in a millisecond.

Help!

I'm sorry that the camera is loosing the charge soon and flashing randomly. Please make sure that the battery is fully charged. Check if you are able to access the Menu. If yes, then, please Initialize the camera under settings 1 Menu. If you are not able to access the menu, you may have to power reset the camera by removing the battery and press n hold the power button for 1 minute continuously. After that leave the button and insert the battery and check if it helps. If the issue still persists, your camera will require service.

My Hayward Colorlogic pool light is flashing like a strobe light

That particular swimming pool light has a power-cycle feature that allows you to change the way your light illuminates your pool simply by turning it off and on. A strobe like effect is one of these power cycles. To change it, simply turn the switch off and then turn it back on within 10 seconds. It should reset to another cycle. It is is left off over 60 seconds, it resets to the first cycle, which could be the strobe. If cycling doesn't solve the problem, your bulb has probably malfunctioned and you are going to have to have a repair tech service it.

Studio Strobe not firing with Coolpix

The Coolpix line of cameras require a "tip positive" sync connection to an external strobe unit (when using the Nikon AS-15 Flash Sync Adapter). On some external Studio Strobe units the sync polarity is easy to change because of the type of plug: On this type of connector simply turn the plug around and insert it with the male pin connectors in the other holes. Other types of connectors (such as the standard "phono" plug) are not generally changeable by the user. If the Coolpix does not fire an external strobe check with the strobe manufacturer for sync polarity info.
