I had problem with air button sticking... Not sure if tile adhesive got in it and causing it to get stuck, but I was able to get it. I disconnected the air tube from the motor. I took my air compressor with a blower nozzle on it and blew into the disconnected air line. Be careful if doing, my button popped out with the cover plate and the rubber piece blew up like a balloon. I was worried that I had popped this rubber piece, but I put back together and worked better than it had before it was stuck. If anyone is going to try this be careful not to over pressurize it. I just pulled trigger on nozzle real quick.

If its under the agitator, simply unscrew the top of the agitator, pull up the agitator and remove the Necklave. If its under the tub itself, you need to access it from underneath, which means you will need to take off the entire outside cover, starting with the top. Once you have removed the entire cover, then you will need to remove each piece that is blocking you from getting to the Necklave. This process is better done by an appliance repair person.

Have an American standard whirlpool tub. the on/off button is stuck on on. now the only way to shut the jets off is to flip the breaker to the bathroom. how do I fix this

This sounds like the air switch in the motor is not working properly. You will need to remove the pump from under the tub to access the air switch located in a housing on the motor.
Replacement Air Switch will cost you about $20

When I push the button on my american standard jacuzzi tub I hear the hum of the motor but jets don't come on

In my case I took the motor out and used a screw driver to turn the impeller in the front of the pump and the fins inthe back. Put it back together and it worked. I then used 2 tablesoons of dishwashing detergent and 1/2 cup bleach and ran it for 20 minutes to clean and degrease the impellers

My American Standard Whirlpool does not turn on. I push the Power button and don't hear anything. Circuit breaker is on, anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Remove access panel make sure pump is plugged in some electricians put a GFI outlet under tub for motor make sure GFI did not trip. Next the switch is an air switch look for the hose going to switch is connected last you may need a new air switch which is common to fail

The tub/water stopper...how do you take that off to unclog hair in the drain?

The overflow drain / stopper lever has 2 screws holding it in place, place a rag over the drain and remove the 2 screws. then remove the drain assembly, it should slide right out. You can now clean the assembly, you may still need a piece of wire to fish the hair out.

American Standard Motor humms

I think there is a clear or black tube connected to the pump on the back of the black box on top of the pump motor, there is a nut where the tube attaches to the back, unscrew this nut and pull the tube out. If it is not the tube type switch, the pump motor power plug should be plugged into a black or blue control box, this box should have a wire going to the switch in the tub. If you have a buzzing noise, the pump or motor is probably seized, This is caused from lack of use or using bath oils or soap in the tub, When you get the pump and motor out to check, stick a screwdriver in the back of the motor(center of motor hole may or may not have a plug in it) and turn the screw, itshould spin freely with little or no resistance.

I need a manual of instructions for instalation of this product .

You will need plumbers putty and a plumber's drain tool. Put a ring of putty around the piece that will be on the inside of the tub to seal it. Then insert it through the hole making sure the rubber gasket is on the bottom side of the tub and tighten it down.

Whirlpool pump only buzzes.

Well there are two things....You say "buzzes?" Like pump is running "humming" & not pushing water. That would be an "airlock" in the pump & it needs to be primed.
If it's "buzzing" & pump motor is not turning (Like it's froze) you might have a bad start up capacitor on the pump that needs to be replaced. Worst case scenerio entire pump needs replacement.
