Breville espresso not heating water

If the heating element in your espresso machine does not heat and your thermostat is working, then check the thermal fuse. The thermal fuse works to prevent overheating by blocking power from getting to the heating element and works with thermostat. If it fails to work, then it is best to replace your thermal fuse.

My lavazza espresso point capsule machine has stayed plugged in and working for almost 2 years. Now it turns itself off after being on a short time or after brewing a few shots of espresso. If I turn it...

The only possibilities I see here are either the Plug Holder with Fuse Block which sometimes goes bad and periodically will shut down the unit. The other possibility is that the Electronic Card has gone bad. It over-heats and shuts down power.

I plan to purchase the Main Power Control Board for the Vienna Superautomatica and was wondering if you thought the average person could replace such an item. I'm good at electronics, etc. I took this...

I have advice many times that you can invest in many parts like elements, group, plastic tap e.t.a. and with a full descale the machine is good as new and with resonable cost. Electronic board is only damage by humidity in one place of it or with a serius problem in one electric part of the machine, like grinder or group motor or heating element solenoid.
So consider that you replace the above board and if the problem is persist and damage the board again.
That is why I consider that the life of the machine is the life of the board because of the cost buying a new one, unless the machine is less that one year old.
If you dont want to buy a new one I strongly sugest to buy a second hand machine in good working condition the same model and color and beleive me the board is consist like new and definiatly would be less than 400.
Good luck

I've got a faema E91/A 3 group espresso machine. I'm testing the machine to see if all works. I've ran power by using a 10 gauge cord hooked up to 250v 30 amp. the cord is about 60ft long. Everything...

the original cord how many wire have? on the label what writes? if you have 5 wire (blue= null or neutral, green whit yelo= grounding, brown, black and grey= phases, is posible to have a red wire instead of grey, black or brown wire), on the blue wire whit one of the phases must have 220 V, on the brown whit another phase you must have 380V, if you had a bad conection is posible to damage something in electronic automatisation of the espresso machine, that machine must be conected in a water suply whitin a softner an befor use is posible to must be triggered manually. by the way, this machine must be proper instaled by a specilised personell beacause it is the risc of electric injuri and other bad things. your E1 is posible to be a temperature probe damaged or because of water mising and in 20-30 min. the machine was reaced a high temperature and safety thermostat has occurred. the best you can do is to call a repairman to solve this, if you try to repair your self it is posible to make worst.

Had exact same problem (same two buttons worked). One of two button connection ribbons (wires) had disconnected inside the electronic box in machine. Simple was is to remove the top, open electronic box, reconnect grey ribbon (back left for me), and electronic tape onto connectors. Just did this, all worked for me.

Saeco vienna power lite on nothing else works

Could be anything. Grinder, electronic board, motor. If you press the brew button and it flashes but nothing happens, it could be the grinder or electric board.

Has to be sent in and checked unfortunately.

Cold espresso

it may be the the back fuses not working or the two thermostat are not working good, or the worst possibility can be the electronic card.
