It does not power up. The fan runs for 20 seconds and there are no lights on the front panel. If I unplug the same result. It has very few hours on it.

Took the power board off and the glass fuse board shows no burns on either side.

SOURCE: Push Power button, green light goes on for a few seconds then nothing....

I would suggest taking a look at the power module if that can be replaced. The Fuse blowing may have only been the beginning of the problem. Any recent issues with under or over voltage in your home?

SOURCE: TV is blank and status light is blinking yellow

I think you have a powersupply problem. This model has had alot of problems with bad electrolitic capasitors through out the entire chassi assy. Because of the way the manufacture designed this unit you may be better off getting a Mitsubishi Authorised service company to fix it. If you feel confedent,
check the powersuppy for 2 electrolitic capasitors that are bulging on the top. They will be your culpirts. I believe they will be 25v 2500uf. But don't hold me to it.
Hope this helps,

SOURCE: I have the WD-65731 DLP HDTV. The tv will not

Have you replaced the lamp?? You usually have to replace the lamps around every two to three years. The manufacturer has designed it so you the customer could change it yourself without a technicion. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Mitsubishi 73" DLP powers on, through welcome

If you are getting at turn on source and back ground is all blue the set will shut down rather quickly;

I have a suggestion, if it works fine, and if not it will not hurt anything.

with original Mitsubishi remote turn set on and then Menu, 1,2,3, enter.

This is the soft reset that most of these sets have (cannot be sure since Model number above is correct?)

The reset button on the front (if it has it) just shuts the set down and reboots the DM unit inside.

Most of these sets when it is pressed the green light will blink for about 70 seconds and go out; that is the DM unit rebooting and the soft restart is something else.

Let me know what you find before you rate this information.

Dell dimension e510 flashing amber light USB front panel

If you are comfortable around computers, you could try the following to test the power supply. Unplug the cord from the power supply, hold the power button in for about 15/20 seconds, open the case, unplug the 24-pin power connector from the motherboard and jump the Green wire to one of the Black wires, reconnect the power cord and power the system on and if power supply fan and hard drive run, then the PSU should be good. Note: Do not remove any wires from the plug, use a small piece of wire or a paper clip as a jumper. Power supply checks out and the system still does not work, again remove the power cord, hold power button in for several seconds to discharge the residue power, reconnect the 24-pin connector to the motherboard. Remove all the PCI cards, the video card [if applicable], memory, all peripherals, disconnect the data and power cables to all the drives, check that the front panel cable is connected to motherboard, with nothing else connected to the system, reconnect the power cable and power the system on. If you do not get any beep codes or diagnostic lights on the front panel, then it would appear that motherboard has died.

Pressing power button results in power light and hard disk light coming on for a couple of seconds cpu fan spins for same length of time then fan stops lights go off few seconds later lights come back fan...

it seems that you have damage memory card replacing may fix a problem but its better for it that you bring it to a technician in order to check much better because the motehrboard may possible be the problem.

I have a Mitsubishi WD-62525 HDTV that suddenly wont turn on. Just has a green blinking light when you hit the power button. Any ideas?

I found this on another website, most likely it is your power supply capacitors.
  1. Press the "reset" button and hold for 10 seconds .... Does TV turn on and blinking green light turn to solid green.

  2. Unplug the TV from it's power source for various times, ranging between 5 minutes and 24 hours..... Does blinking green light continue upon plugging in the TV.

  3. Disconnect ALL devices from the TV; DVD, Tuner, Cable Box, unplug the TV for various duration times .... Does blinking green light continues upon plugging in the TV.

  4. Press Power and Menu buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

  5. Press Power and Display buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

  6. Insure that no front panel buttons are inadvertently stuck in an "engaged" position.

Diagnosis: If none of the above test resolve the issue, then the failure lies in one of the following:

  1. DM Module Capacitors have FAILED.
  2. DM Module is defective.
  3. EEPROM Board failure
  4. Power Supply failure.

Turns itself on and off every few seconds. The blue light at the front of the TV stays on steadily during this process. Tried unplugging it but made no difference.

When you unplugged it, did you leave unplugged for quite a few hours? And in the meantime of being unplugged, did you press and hold the power button for 5 full seconds, and then wait half hour more to plug back in? If you did this and it still is the same, then you likely have either a loose wire or solder joint or your high-voltage transformer is likely bad.

Replaced lamp in optoma ep1690 but there is not projection

Hello, many of times this is related to the brighter being turned down and we go about trying to turn up the unit thru the remote and you may need to do this adjustment directly from the panel on the unit.
If this should fail, you may need to unplug the unit and allow it to be off for over 24 hours and this will cause the unit memory to return back to the manufacture's settings and if you still get the same result, consider your lamp may have played out, need to be replace... good luck and I hope thi helps.

LG LCD TV Standby Light Flashing Red Continuously

I have had this same problem twice in the past 3 months. So far both times I've been able to get it back after a week or two. I'm not sure what works, but unplugging and detaching the antenna and cable and waiting a few days seems to be the key. In both instances, I unplugged it for a few days then plugged it in for a few days and repeated the processes until I eventually got the steady red led. Both times prior to the red led the led would flash red then green and make a clickiing noise for several hours before I was able to get it working again.
