Microwave suddenly not working. No power

check the fuse in the wall plug and whether a fuse has been tripped in your fusebox first. If they have blown/tripped you should have the unit tested

Suddenly it does not work. No clock no light up in the panel.

Open the unit. On top where mains come in would be a big fuse normally 10amp , its blown. This is almost always caused by faulty door switches. Also check diode from the big cap to earth. be careful the cap can store high voltages even when unit is off.Discharge capacitor first with a wire to earth.Make sure the unit is off.The fuse will also blow if that diode is blown.they usually go short circuit.

This microwave is about 5 years old. It suddenly stopped working. No power, no lights coming on, just shut off completely. Can it be fixed?

Yes it can be fixed! the main fuse in the microwave has blown, this is usually caused by a defective door switch, but on occasion it is just the fuse.

The microwave suddenly turned off. I believe it's a blown fuse inside the microwave itself. is this possible? is there a simple way to fix it?

Sometimes there are fuses inside, but there are also high voltage capacitors that will hold power even with the unit unplugged. If you haven't worked on one before, it's best to leave this one to the pros.

Internal fuse fails

probably a short circuit. fuses are intended for overcurrent protection.

It just all of a sudden dont heat up

Pull the control panel and check for a blown fuse. If the fuses are good, it's probably the panel or even worse the magnatron (too expensive to repair in most cases, just cheaper to replace the microwave). Good luck.
