Media Converter says "Quicktime not installed"

Gogear Vibe can be SA1xxx or SA2xxx and the supported video file types are different. I think you have SA2xxx bacause it uses mp4 format. In this case:

To ensure playback of video files such as .mp4:

• Always use Philips Songbird to transfer the files.
• Make sure Quick Time (latest version) and Windows Media Player 11 (or higher) has been installed before Philips Songbird is installed.

You need to transfer the videos using Philips songbird to avoid any playback issues. Make sure that you also have the latest version quicktime and Windows media player 11 or higher installed on your computer before installing the Songbird.

You can download and install quicktime from:

You need to transfer the Videos to the Songbird library and then transfer them to your player. Here is how to transfer files from songbird to your MP3 player:
1. Click "File" in the toolbar and select "Import Media". Choose the folder that stored your media files.
2. Select the media files that you want to transfer and then Right Click to display a drop list (You can press and hold the Ctrl button on the keyboard to select more than one file).
3. Select "Add to Device" and "(Your player model)".
Or you need to go to Songbird library and then drag and drop the files to your MP3 player's icon on the Songbird software.

download the latest version of quicktime and try again

Make sure you ran the youtube video through the Sansa Media converter, and that you have the latest version of Quicktime installed

Re-run through converter
if that fails, download the latest codec for that file type - sometimes downloading the latest version of Quicktime is a shortcut method for finding the latest codec

go to the sandisk.com website and get the latest version
