Needle in my machine NECCHI LYDIA3 moves only half way down and looks like something is blocking to go tru all the way

Yes quality of thread could definitely affect sewing, as will a blunt/old/wrong size needle for the material used. Also must have same thread in bobbin and needle also corect thread and needle size for material sewn plus correct tension for that material too. Could be lint or tangled threads underneath needle plate too.

Suspect the machine is seizing due to lack of regular cleaning and oiling.

Perhaps it needs a good cleaning and oiling if it hasn't been done for a while.

It was working now it seems to be frozen the needle part wont move

In the upper portion of the machine, there is usually a cam mechanism that moves the needle side/side during a zig-zag stitch. It's possible that a pin or something has fallen into the machine & is preventing the needle-arm from moving properly.

There are usually only a few screws that hold the upper housing cover in place. Open it up and check the needle arm movement from there. Chances are, the problem will reveal itself thru a close inspection of the moving parts involved.

the presser foot or what ever foot your sewing with does not feed the
fabric,, the feed dogs in the needle plate are what moves the fabric
to be sewed, the feet only hold the fabric against feed dog so the
machine can use the needle to sew the fabric.
if the fabric is not moving then the feed dogs have to be checked
can you see the feed dogs in the needle plate area are the up or
down?
do you have a manual for the machine?
a manual help to know where the feed dog lever is, I'm sending
you a link for a manual for the machine, so you can look for the feed
dog lever, if the feed dogs are up then there is something wrong
with the feed dogs & they need to be checked.
but if the feed dogs are down then look in the manual & see where
the feed dog lever is & put it in the up position & see if that brings
the feed dogs up to the sewing position, if the feed dogs do not
come up then the feed dogs need to be checked.

Sounds to me like you may have put the needle in backwards. The flat side should be to the back.

there should be a way to disengage the bobbin winder. I had a machine that had a switch in the center of the handwheel and even though it would be in the off position I still had to turn the handwheel till it clicked.
