Hmmm. Try checking out this YouTube video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXyV5aszfXg

and maybe that will help. Or, on Google Maps and search up some electronic repair stores and maybe they'll have a look. Hope I helped!

SOURCE: Nintendo DS Lite gold teeth bent

I dont like to give you bad news but this is a difficult part to find and replace without some technical knowledge, and even if you get it, i.e. from a parts NDS, and with the technical knowledge, its difficult as this part is surface mounted and have many pins to desolder.

Actually I dont remember how difficult is it to put the pins of SLOT-1 in place by opening the device though you can try that as first option (find some open NDS pictures, the guides are also online everywhere).

You can also use a SLOT-2 (GBA) game cartridge for backups (ROMS) with flash memory as many options are online too but may be dificlt and you may need to do some proccedures as you cant use the SLOT-1 (NDS games).

The other option is to buy a broken NDSL somewhere like ebay making sure the main board works good, as you dont worry about broken hinges, cracked screens, etc. Or last pick, sell it for parts.

Good Luck...

SOURCE: Nintendo DS Lite games won't work!

my son's DS had the same problem this week. With the DS turned off, ,I pushed the game in and held it right down while turning the DS on. The game registered and I let go of the game and it clicked in to place. The next time I tried the game it registered straight away. Good luck!

SOURCE: how to put games in my memory card at Nintendo DS Lite?

To get an in depth answer seach you tube but in brief.
You will need to download the system files for your type of R4 or flash card you are using, make sure you get the exact model type as they are not interchangeable.
Drag and drop the files to your card you will see either 4 or 5 files. Then make a folder called Games on your micro SD card and load your games into that folder.
It quite involved but the tutorials on you tube go right into it.

SOURCE: nintendo ds lite won't read card

had this problem, i looked into where the game goes and one of the little metal teeth was bent, so i took a long toothpick and gently pushed it back over now it works fine. Be careful that you dont break it off though.

Ds lite does not read games

First thing to do is rule out a dirty game slot. Buy a game slot cleaner online or at your local game store. Clean the slot and your games using the cleaning kit. Once you have done this if you still encounter the problem you should contact Nintendo to have it repaired or sell it as broken and buy a good used one.

I can give you some answers but might not work. See if the slot where the Ds game suppose to go needs to be cleaned.Take a pice of cotton from the cutip and put it on your stlyer(DS stick).Clean inside of it.Stiil dose not work and have a warranty go get the ds repaired.DO NOT PUT LIQUID IN THE DS SLOT(WILL NEVER WORK AGAIN TILL REPAIRED).
