You simply can't use any 110V device at 220V, be it a cellphone converter or a food mixer.. Some artifacts have a switch to be used at 110/220 and those, once changed to 220V, can be used.

Kitchenaid does not recommend using a US model mixer overseas since the frequency is different. Here in the States we use 120 Volts 60 Hertz, it Europe they use 240 Volts 50 Hertz so even if you were to feed it the correct voltage, the frequency would still be lower and the mixer would run slower and hotter causing shortened life of overheating.
The voltage in US is 110-120 volts and the amperage is 60 amps.
