So i went to use my luxor smart tv today after a few months and the volume wont stay up it lets me turn it up but then goes straight back down to 0 why is this and how can i stop it ?

Hello Skye, you can have two problems, one, that in the remote control, the Vol - button is locked, or that you have on the TV, the same button Vol-, also locked, try to take the remote control of the room where is the TV, so that it can not affect the operation of the TV, you must try to increase the volume from the TV and check if the problem is solved, if it continues, we are facing a problem of TV functions, look in the menu , reestablish factory setting and if it continues, I suggest you take it to a specialized technical service
I hope you can solve the problem

Hello Educare Shalom, to be able to handle the volume of your kenwood tuner kt 45, you should connect a stereo potentiometer of 50 kOhms Linear in the output signal or connect it to a sound mixer, to be able to regulate the output level

I have a 2001 chrysler voyager installed a kenwood stereo and when i raise the volume to where its lound the radio will turn off and on untill i lower the vol

My electronics savvy source says you may be overdriving the amplifier in your Kenwood stereo to an impedance-mismatched set of speakers, meaning that the speakers are impedance mis-matched to the Kenwood stereo, and therefore operate ok (but inefficiently) at low volume, but cut off completely at higher volume.
Fix: match the impedance of your speaker network to the specs on your Kenwood car stereo. Once this is done, you should be able to crank up the volume to the point of permanent hearing loss.
SAFETY CAUTION - sound levels above 85 decibels produce NIHL (noise-induced hearing loss).

I am simply trying to hook up the stock sub that came with this product vr 357. I don't see an input on the tuner do I need an amp of some sort or am I missing something

I think you're missing the manual(s).

http://www.retrevo.com/support/Kenwood-VR-357-Receivers-manual/id/480dj197/t/2/
describes how to use a >> powered << subwoofer with the VR-357.

Speakers are OUTPUT devices. As far as the manual goes there is no STOCK subwoofer with this receiver. What's yours and does it have a manual which might answer your question?

NO SOUND OUT OF RECIEVER, TURN VOLUME TO MAX AND CAN HARDLY HEAR ANYTHING

TURN THE VOUME CONTROL DOWN TO SOMETHING REASONABLE. MAX VOLUME IS ONLY USED TO DESTROY SPEAKERS.

Unmute it, de-select Tape Monitor, de-select M.Input.

DNX7120 issue with VOL increase button. When this button is pressed once, the volume skyrockets to max, VOL decrease button does not work right away to lower the volume, nor does the ATT button. Unit...

I had the same issue. You can use the on screen volume buttons on screen to stop issue and don't use the physical buttons anymore. Watch out about a month after the volume problem started all physical buttons on my DXN7120 stopped working. There are a few reports of this online, I have not found a fix yet.

My Kenwood DPX-4020 suddenly turns up to max vol

you probably have a bad switch. you need to use a multimeter and check the resistance of your volume up switch, if less than a few meg., the switch is bad.
