Simple video on how to hard reset Nextbook Android Tablet. Power off device, select volume up and then power, hold power for 5-7 seconds and let go without releasing volume up. When u get the android menu scroll down to wipe data navigating with the volume buttons and then to wipe data.20 Aug 2013
I suppose you want to update to a higher Android version. I advise against it if you are a novice. First, you have to find an updated version of the ROM for your tablet specifically. Then, you will have to use an appropriate software to flash the ROM into your tablet. There is always a danger of bricking your tablet when flashing.
Try this: Turn tablet off. Hold down volume up button and press power on button - continuing to hold both buttons down until the screen says something like "booting in recovery mode" (then touch the android robot image) or gives you options to do a factory reset. Do a factory reset and then reboot tablet normally. Be aware that a factory reset will wipe all user data from the tablet. Next time I would write down your selected password and put the paper in your wallet or purse.....
Sign a month-to-month contract (since you already have the phone) with a wireless/mobile carrier. They will give you a SIM card to put into your phone and assign you a phone #.
I had this issue. Your firmware is corrupted. The only way to fix is to install Uberoid (latest version 12.1) which will bring your tablet back to life. http://www.pandawillforum.com/showthread.php?15703-Universal-WM8650-Uberoid-v12-1-(CUSTOM-ROM)
