Well, for this unit you will need any of the following bags,

Eureka genuine Part# 90610
Eureka replacement (Central vac bag)
another genuine bag style called CV-1, and/or CV-2
Kenmore Central vac bags

Most of the bags there are available at your local vacuum shop, and sometimes even Sears. The Kenmore central vac bag is, can and will fit your Eureka Mega Boss. Prices range on these bags anywhere from $12-$20 for packages of 3. Generally you will replace a bag once every 3-4 months.

I logged into the Kenmore website, entered the vacuum model no. and found that the bag has been superceeded by 20-50004, which appears to be available only from Kenmore. The belt required is #5270.

What year model?

Pre-late 1990s, bag on upright just fit over the adapter in the tube.

Lat 1990s, went to a version that had a sliding piece of paper to cloe off the bag & prevent spillage, and required a hinged plastic piece for chipboard piece on bag to slide into.

Must have right bag for the unit, otherwise it will not stay on, will leak.

are the brushes moving?if so , it is clogged somewhere, that is my guess

I would suggest checking the hoses for clogs. Especially the hose right after the carpet brushes. Don't forget to clean off your brush. Hope this helps.

What is the model number??? Or you can go to sears.com, click on the parts link, put in your model number, then you will have the parts lists and picture diagram to look at. You will be able to see what bag it takes, and order thru them if you want.
