You can download video to your computer using the included USB cable. However, your camera will first need to be on AC power to make the transfer, so take the battery out and hook up the AC power cable to the adapter to the DC power cable to the camera, then turn it on. You can now transfer videos to your computer using the camera's interface, once the USB connection is made.

Apparently the software that Panasonic sent with my video camera is not compatible with Windows XP Service Pack 3. The solution is spending $79 on another software. Not happy about it, but grateful for your exper that helped me get this resolved. Thanks.
