Samsung microwave oven Model # SMH9151S. Turntable not turning fan inside (not the exhaust fan) is not working either.

I have a Samsung microwave oven Model # SMH9151S. The Turntable is not turning (I have checked the stepper motor and it's good), and the fan inside (not the exhaust fan) is not working either. Can anybody help?I troubleshooted whatever I could. No blown fuse, the lights work just fine, the exhaust fan works fine and the microwave is working, as far as warming up or cooking food.

It may be a failed relay on the control board, which I repair affordably.

SOURCE: Microwave turns on, but no heat or turntable movement

The problem is that the magnatron is not getting power. Chance is that if could be a bolwn fuse inside the unit. If the fuse don't fix it then that leaves the charging diode, capacitor or the magnatron, or high voltage xformer of which without technical epertize I would not recomend attempting to replace. good luck

SOURCE: GE Microwave oven vent fan not working

You are correct the fan motor is either stuck or needs replaced.

There is no way to do this without removing the entire microwave. In case your not familiar with how microwaves work, there is a capacitor that is very large inside and can hold a charge even after it is unplugged for up to 24 hours, please take action to prevent getting shocked.

Need to install membrane switch model number smh9151s

This is actually a simple DIY job. The service manual is at my site here.

You simply move your circuit board into a new control panel frame assembly, which comes with a new keypad already attached.
For model SMH9151S, it is part number DE94-01806K ("Assy Control PANEL") and you can order it from the Pros here for about $42.

If it is not in stock when you order, they can have it to you in just a few days.

You can also find helpful exploded view diagrams and order other parts via that link.

There's a video here showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes. If you have trouble, slide the hood vent grille to the left about 1/4", then then pull it forward. Then you unplug the keypad (as per the photo below) and move your circuit board into the new frame. Be careful, since the display is made of glass.

Turntable is not turning and we do not have a manual Model is JVM1660BB005 GE Profile

The turntable on many of these models get their power from the internal cooling fan.

When I say internal cooling fan, I do not mean the hood vent exhaust fan which you can turn on and off manually.

I'm instead talking about the internal fan which comes on automatically whenever you microwave.

It is vital that the cooling fan runs, or the turntable and stirrer won't work, and magnetron will soon be destroyed.

We have a sound clip of what a microwave should sound like when the cooling fan and high voltage section are operating here.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

Under mount light will not turn off on my samsung microwave.

We see (and repair) this a lot. The problem is on the control panel, which we regularly repair nationwide by mail for $39.95 postpaid in about a week or so.

This light failure often occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a failure on the controller.

This can often also affect the exhaust fan, cooling fan, turntable, and/or inside light operation, too.

Details of our service are at our Web site, along with a video showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Feel free to contact me directly with your brand, full model number and symptoms.

Turntable wont turn.

On some Samsung/GE models, the turntable motor and stirrer motor are powered off a tap on the internal cooling fan motor and in such cases they will be marked "21V AC".

A quick test is to remove the stirrer cover in the ceiling of the oven. The owner's manual tells you how, and you can download that here.

Then run the oven for several seconds with a cup of water inside while watching the stirrer blade in the top. It should turn very slowly.

If it does not turn or is jerky, it or the cooling fan is not working.

Also, we have a sound clip of what a microwave should sound like when the cooling fan and everything else is working here.

The cooling fan's absence will be notable after you hear the clip.

The turntable system otherwise consists of the motor, the coupler, the turntable support with rollers, and the tray.

You can see and hear a video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand.

If the cooling fan is good, but yours won't rotate or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or plastic coupler.

To replace either, you need to unplug power, then remove the bottom cover of the oven.

There should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

Accessing some parts may require you to pull the oven from thew wall and remove the cover.

If so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

Samsung MU3250W Shut down

It could have been steam or humidity.

If this is an over the range model, be sure you always use the hood vent exhaust fan when you're cooking on the stove top.

Whether it's a counter top or over the range top, always be aware that the cooling fan is running when it's cooking.

When in doubt feel for air flow through the vents.

Good luck.
