How do I make ventilate message go away

Message VENTILATE will not clear. I can squirt an entire tank of water through just fine. In test mode I can activate the brew unit, grind and put water though the brew unit. but when I turned it on the ventilate message still appears. We decalcified.

VENTILATE ERROR at 27,211 brew cycles on 12/31/22. I read that a stuck Flow Meter might be the cause of the error. A Factory Reset was suggested, so I did that and the Ventilate Error cleared, but it returned on the 1st brew cycle. Since the pump works fine and I had nothing to lose, I continued Ventilating and let the water tank empty, so it really needed to Ventilate. Started with 1 liter of the hottest tap water available, I allowed the tank to empty and then Ventilated using 1.5 liters of boiling water. The Flow Meter must have cleared because I was offered Hot Water or Steam. In the end, the machine is working fine. I had to re-program all of the settings because of the Factory Reset, but my machine lives on. 2023 here we come.

  • Check to make sure there's nothing inside your flow meter.
  • Check the flow meter wire connection at the board (cpu/pcb).

On grinder it might be set too fine...
On ventilate, there is an air lock in the hydraulic system, run the hot water cycle for a few seconds to clear.

Descaling cycle will not run

You need to push the hot water button on the machine panel to allow water to run out of the steam wand. After a few seconds the machines ventilate message should clear.

Keep getting ventilate message - won't ventilate and cannot operate steam or grinder w/ ventilate message

Try this run the hot water cycle for a few seconds, it that works, try steaming if you get the message again clear it by running the hot water cycle and then go to steaming, this time push in on the knob after you open it, it that works, then the tap rod or the valve assembly needs to be replaced.

Coffee is not coming out, machine is telling me to ventilate

Hi
Ventilate is a message that the machine needs to be primed. Open the knob on the right with the water button pushed. Make sure that the machine is not in the steam mode. The pulsing should be very fast not slow. If you do not have a blockage the message should clear in about 5 seconds. If is doesn't clear in 5 seconds you might have a blockage in your water tank intake. That is under the water tank on the machine. It can also be in your flow meter. Remember when you are working on filling your beans or water keep the other one covered to prevent cross contamination.

New Royal espresso machine

It means you have an airlock in the water system. It can occur when you refill the water tank also.
Quite often you can run the hot water nossle untill the airlock clears. You will hear it splatter and then it should be sweet to go.

Machine Is Stuck on "VENTILATE" Command

I had this "Ventilate" problem after descaling my Saeco Incanto de luxe. I tried all posted suggestions within my capability/user level to no avail. Just when I thought I was going to need to contact customer service for repair, I went through the menu settings and selected "yes" for Factory Settings and the ventilate message went away and the machine was immediately "Ready for Use". Weird, but it worked for me.

I am getting an error message that says VENTILATE

Try draining the machine. Page 37 of the user manual, Drainage. Place cup under the steam/hot water tube, turn knob clockwise around to 9. If the pump is ok, it will start automatically and start filling the cup. Drain about 1/2 cup of hot water and return knob counterclockwise to start position. If the flow meter is not damaged, the Ventilate message should be gone.
