CAN'T INSTALL PRINTMASTER GOLD 10 ON VISTA COMPUTER

WHEN I TRY TO INSTALL PRINTMASTER GOLD 10 ON MY VISTA COMPUTER I GET AN EMPTY WHITE BOX ON SCREEN AND IT WON'T INSTALL. IT INSTALLED ON MY HUSBANDS VISTA COMPUTER.

As I just posted on http://www.fixya.com/support/t2129564-printmaster_platinum_10_version_will_not I was able to get PrintMaster Platinum 10 to install on Windows Vista by right clicking on E:\Setup\is_Setup.Exe->Properties->Compatibility->Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 2) and then running E:\Setup>is_Setup.Exe FullSetup.ini from the command prompt.

Administrator privileges are required to properly install the program on Windows® XP, Windows Vista®, Windows® 7 and Mac OS X for PrintMaster Platinum 2011 .

Using mouse, right click on the "setup" and Run as "Administrator"

Broderbund PrintMaster Gold 16.0 is not compatible with Vista.
Platform: Windows 98 / 2000 / Me / XP

You can try to use Vista compatibility mode to run older programs in Vista. There is not guarantee that it will work!!! Please take note:- **The installation of an older program to run in a newer OS may also crash your PC too.

Computers run whatever you tell them to, quickly.
Why don't you look up the publisher's forums for an appropriate fixup and support, or cite the error and/or compatibility mode failings for solvers to consider?

Just changing tack a little brings more than one side-looking solution.

Installing PrintMaster Gold 10 on Vista the screen is blank
You need to get the vista video driver for it, Thats why no one like vista as there are not all the drivers that xp has. go to printmaster site and see if one is available.

I have purchased PrintMaster Gold version 18 three times and returned two of them. My computer is operating on Windows XP service pack 2. My computer does not seem to find any data on the install disk....
You might have a problem with your CD/DVD drive. Try inserting the CD in another computer. If the files are shown, replace your CD/DVD drive or just add another CD drive to an empty bay of your computer.
