The problem could be the battery itself... Is it new or ageing, as in old???
If it's getting old, you will need to replace it with a newbie. Take your Laptop to your local PC shop and ask them to check your Laptop & battery out, Batteries are not too expensive.
I had the same problem, brand new battery, the indicator light still blinking red. I finally got mad enough to shake the mouse kinda hard, and it worked. I then removed and replaced the old batteries in, it started blinking red again, but it worked after I gave it a couple of hard side by side shake. I do notice that there's something moving inside the mouse. It could be a connector that got loose. Hope this fixes your problem
Well to be3 a 100% about the battery I would replace it with one that you know or is guaranteed to work. Camera batteries can look OK from outside and be completely collapsed inside.
No Charge lights can indicate NO battery and if there is one inside then it is dead and registers as a no battery ( no charge light)
The red light blinks in very low state, but totally discharged it will not blink and wont blink again until loeft on chareger for about 3-4 hrs to overcome the low state.
This maybe a solution. I had the same issue just now. Pulled battery, put back in, placed on dock, and still blinking red. So I removed the camera from the dock, pulled battery, put same old battery back in, placed on the dock and turned the mode switch on right away before it started blinkin red. It seems to be charging now with one bar and has not gone blinking red for 15 minutes.
I was outside with the camera in 10 degree weather taking pics of my dogs but had been inside for 20 minutes before placing it on the doc. I think something may have happened with the charging circuit and turning it on right away with it on the doc may have reset the charging. Try it. Hope it works for you.
Charging LED Red LED is on = Being charged Red LED is blinking = Charging error Green LED is on = Charging is complete
● If the charge indicator blinks as red, it indicates a battery charging error. - The battery is not properly inserted - The terminals of battery are dirty or damaged If the battery is inserted properly and the charge indicator continues to blink, contact the nearest Samsung Camera Service Center.
If the charging LED doesn't turn to green could mean a signal that the battery is bad or can't charge 100% anymore = too old, needs a new battery. Hope this helps.
Tried to turn it on? Sounds like you need to replace the lamp. However, I got an additional week out of my unit. Although poorly dimmed and the red Lamp light blinked constantly for that one week, at least it gave me enough warning to seek out a replacement. But so long as you're not mistaking the Power/Standby or Timer light for the Lamp light then I would have to agree with you.
