I am getting a soapy film on the dishes.

I am filling up the soap compartments and running the dishwasher, but the dishes are coming out with a soapy film on them. But I don't want to use a lesser amount of soap, and not get them clean. Am I running it wrong, or is the problem this particular dishwasher?

It is actually calcium build up and not soap. The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.

Leaves a white soapy film on pots, pans and dishes

Are you overloading your dishwasher? Are you loading the dishes in such a way to cover the water shooting up from the blades? Have you run your dishwasher a few times with no dishes in it, adding straight white vinegar to clean it out? How old is your dishwasher?

Doesn't clean anything

You should try running a load with 4 cups of white vinegar and no soap through the unit. This should help remove some of the soap scum and build-up that has accumulated. Hope it helps _MJ_

ok i run a appliance repair company DENTON appliance and your problem is simple you have a water temp problem the are two thermo sensor under the bottom of the tub one or both are bad causing the heater not to come on to heat the water. it could be a bad heating element but you would be able to see a burned spot on the element. it takes hot water to remove the soap film this should fix your problem.

Dihes not clean

Run the unit with no soap, after about 5 min. of run time open door and check to see if water is clear or soapy,If soapy then you are having an oversudsng issue. When your washer gets to rinse cycle, your unit (if oversuding),will be rinsing with soapy water and the the drying cycle bakes the soap on dishes. You might be having a white film on your clear glasses.Cut down on soap especially if you have soft water.powder soap is best.Your dishwasher will fill , wash , the drain. Its what you put into it that will cause dishes not become clean.
