Light doesn,t come on when door opens

Faulty door switch, Open dryer door, see if light comes on inside the dryer. If it does the door switch is good. If it doesn’t try resetting the breaker. *( dryer bulbs burn out) you may want to replace the bulb if light doesn’t come on before proceeding forward)
The start switch is another cause. You will have to unplug the dryer to check continuity.
A broken drum belt.
Turn timer on a cycle and listen for it making a ticking sound. You should as the timer is the least likely to fail, from my experience.

Have you tried a little squirt of wd40 or graphite in the door jam switch and then hand manipulate it a few times?

You have a faulty door switch. Here is the replacement switch.

There is an antenna extender kit available from Sears or Chamberlain dealers that may help you. The part number is 41A3504.

You can try this for your light problem. Unplug the opener and remove the light bulb. Use a small screwdriver to pry out on the center contact in the socket. Replace the bulb and plug it in. Use only a regular incandescent bulb. Some others will not fit in the socket properly.

There should be a light switch inside each compartment, depress them with the door open one at a time, locate the bad switch and disconnect it. You can remove the bulbs too. Most of the problems with bottom freezer are the door, they seem to not get closed properly and they get heavily frosted, once frosted they seem not to close correctly and cause the lights to remain on.
I would look for the problem with the door closing or the door switch failing.

Unplug the opener and remove the light bulb. Pry out on the center contact of the light socket. Replace the bulb and plug in the opener.

1) Remove the key from the ignition. Make sure the doors are closed, so the new bulb does not illuminate when you are installing it.

2) Make sure the dome light switch is turned to the "Off" position. Pry the plastic lens away from the dome light. Use a small, flat-head screwdriver.

3) Push back the side bulb clamp. Pull out the old dome lightbulb. Wipe the area with a paper towel if it is dirty.

4) Wrap the new bulb in a paper towel (oil from your skin will shorten its life). Insert it into the dome lightbulb holder. Push it up gently to secure it.

5) Turn the switch to "On" to test the bulb. Reposition the cover and push up to lock the clips into place.

If the bulb doesn't work, you've got a bad switch somewhere, probably on the drivers door.

Maybe check to see if your button next to your headlights switched is pushed in or out?

Most likely the door switch.
