SOURCE: I have a Model #3510 Lasko Cyclone Fan and the blades are dirty

Steam works great, otherwise you can use a degreaser and hose it off. Make sure you let it dry completey and then some before plugging back in.

SOURCE: How do I take off to replace a lasko cyclone 3542 fan blade ?

Bex,
THose usually just pull off. You will have to pull hard because there is a spring clamp that they sometimes put around the inside hub of the fan. If there is a clamp, you will need to transfer that to the new blade. Hope this helps!

Disassembling a cyclone by lasko for cleaning

There are screws hidden between the slats on the side of the fan that are not obvious. You will also need to pry the fan apart as it snaps together. On the back by the power cord is a round tab over it. There are some screws under it. They hold the motor to the back assembly. It took about 7 minutes for us to get it apart today because of the screws being hidden on the sides. After a cleaning it won't turn on now.

How do i take apart my lasko cyclone fan to clean the inside of it

You may need to UNSCREW the front half of you fan guard plastic casing or depress it in a few place if you see notches on the cage itself. Remember the knobs you will be removing to take the blades off to clean will be threaded opposite, one will screw off and on clockwise then other counter clockwise. Be sure FAN is UNPLUGGED BEFORE YOU open it up. Lay all parts in bathtub, Spray with Cleaning foam, pour lots of water over to clean all sides, then let drain and dry in bathtub. Less muss and fess this way!

I NEED INSTRUCTIONS TO TAKE APART FOR CLEANING

I have a similar model to this one. It's a little tricky. Everything snaps or twists together. Press a little on the front and back of the fan grills and twist lefty loosy to open. The blades are an easy detachment, just pull them out easily, and take off the back grill. The back grill may have two screws connecting it to the main case of the fan, but mine didn't.

Removing fan blades

Joey Temal is right. After removing any small metal retaining clips (which are obvious and easily removed), you have to pull down ridiculously hard to get the fan blade off. Alternate short jerky pulls with steady downward traction.
