Mitsubishi rear projection tv, model WS-48311 - Lost audio after moving tv and re-hooking up cables. How do I get it back?

It sounds like this TV is being used only for the PS3. We'll need to troubleshoot this through a process of elimination.

If you're using Component Input 1 and audio, try using Component Input 2 and audio instead. If this set of inputs provides working audio and video - you can stop. Or, try going back to Input 1 once more. If Input 1 now works - you may have simply made a better connection. If it doesn't - then there's probably an issue with input 1 on the TV.

If moving to Input 2 above still didn't solve the problem, you should try using a different set of audio cables between the HDFury and the TV. If it now works, the original audio cables are faulty.

You can check the HDfury setup on another HDTV with component inputs with it connected to an HDMI cable. if the HDFury wors, you know the device and all the cables work. If you do this test and it works with your PS3, then you know that the PS3 is providing good video and audio signals via HDMI. If the problem follows the PS3 - then it's the PS3 at fault. If everything works perfectly on the second TV, then there is some issue with the audio amplifier / inputs / speakers of the Mitsu TV. You could get a cheapo stereo amp and speakers - or a set of computer speakers for audio - it all depends on how much you want to spend for sound.

Good lcuk!

My Onkyo TX-SR506 plays cable and CD inputs to zone 2, but DVD won't play. Everything is connected according to the manual and I assigned zone 2 output correctly. What gives?

How are your cable and cd inputs hooked up? Analog connections? Alot of receivers cannot send an audio signal from hdmi inputs to zone 2.

I don't get sound from Vizio Sound Bar, need connection instructions.

You have a red and white composite audio cable the simplest way is to hook that to your audio output on your tv then obviously the other end goes into the soundbar. Make sure its an OUTPUT not input on the tv, if you hook it up this way everything that plays on your tv will then play through the soundbar. Some tv's do not have an audio output if this is the case then you will have to hook it up to an output of another source such as DVD player or cable box. There are two other possible audio outs on your tv they are fiber optic audio and digital coaxil audio but usually not the case as they are usually only inputs. One other thing some tv's(very rare) require you to go to menu to enable audio out. There is one other possibity and that is HDMI which carries picture and sound but again TV's rarely have this output.

Hooking up stereo to the 32". I have a Sattellite box, DVD and stereo to hook up everything works but now there is no where for the audio out that I can get to work.

Your best bet for audio is connect the audio directly from each source to the stereo amplifier. Some lower end model TV's do away will the extra inputs and outputs.

Need a diagram to hook my Bose CinemaT speakers. When I hook it directly to the tv no problem but can't figure out how to hookup my reciever and CD player to work also? Help Please

You'd be better off hooking the speakers to the RECEIVER'S speaker outputs, THEN hooking your TV audio output to an unused receiver input, such as AUX. The signals from your receiver cannot reach the TV; thus your CD player and radio will not play through the speakers if the speakers are hooked to the TV. All receiver INPUTS are designed to accept the same signal level; thus, you can use any input for your TV audio, such as Aux, DVD, CD, etc. Just remember which input you're using for the TV audio, and everything should work fine. Almost all receivers have an AUX input; hopefully yours also has a dedicated CD input to avoid confusion. The you simply select the AUX input to hear your TV through the speakers.

Car amplifers,,,,kicker amp's RCA jacks!

You could do a couple things if your head unit has all three outputs, then take them and hook them into the inputs. If you have just the front and the rear outputs, hook those to the inputs front and rear. Then hook the output of the 4 channel to the input of the mono block. I hope this helped

Distorted sound on all right channel inputs

yep but if your not a tech you should take this easy repair to a pro. Your problem is an open emitter resitor and happens when the units over driven or a speaker is bad for a while while it was working. if your a tech then check all of the emmitter resistors. also it could be a bad output device. Good Luck
