There is something wrong with my blackberry pearl speakers.

Problem After typing an incorrect password ten times and restarting the BlackBerry smartphone, JVM error 513 appears.
Cause All the data and applications have been deleted on the BlackBerry smartphone.
Resolution Reinstall the BlackBerry® Device Software on the BlackBerry smartphone and restore the data from a backup file (if available).

I use to get that messege because my phone didnt have enought memory for the transfer. I bought the memory card so now it's fine.

i had this same problem as well. the first time i did a battery pull and everything was fine again, for about an hour. when i did the battery pull again, it worked but i noticed when i was closing the door on the back that the sound stopped again. i discovered that pressing on the battery made the speaker engage again. i folded up a piece of masking tape and put it on top of the battery and then squeezed the door down to keep a constant pressure on the battery.

this isn't the classiest of fixes, but my phone rings when people call so i'll take it.

I to faced the same problem.
First of all disable bluetooth in the phone and switch off the bluetooth device.
Now try to make a call and see whether you can hear it or not.
If you are unable to hear then try to press the Mute button (which is on the top of the phone).
I hope you should be able to hear the voice now.
It worked for me.
