Comet axd 3020 will not build pressure

junk axial wobble plate pump. Usually axial pumps are not worth the time to try to fix them. This one has a 5 year warranty , so they think they have a pretty good one. ( I would never buy one) If you want to try to fix it, I would check the check valves first. Take them out and see if some are broken or not sealing properly. There is a valve kit available.
The other likely problem is your unloader valve. If the seal is shot or the valve stuck open the pump will not build pressure.

Spun bearing

You are up for an engine rebuild. Remove the engine and turn up side down in a stand. Remove the sump and find the failed bearing by taking off the big end caps. If you find a con rod damaged you will have to remove the head and that piston and replace the con rod. If it is a main bearing that has spun you should only have to replace the crank shaft and fit new bearing shells Either way you will need another crank shaft. Check the price of a low mileage engine from a wrecker as it will be quicker and possible cheaper in the long run

I have a K 3.98 mr. it starts motor runs but no water comes out.

Either the SWASH PLATE got loose or the intake and suction valves are damaged. The Swash Plate is an inclined disc that rotates and make the pistons go up and down...pumping water. In your case I suspect a lot it is the Swash Plate. This takes a qulified person to change. Unless you have the tools and know how.
Thanks,

It will not dispense the soap.

You need to adjust the nozzle on the end of the lance so the machine will draw chemical at low pressure.

How to put oil back into the Karcher water pump

You need to remove the pump and sit it brass side up before removing the bolts holding the brass to the aluminum part (you have to do it that way so the oil doesn't spill out.) CAUTION: there is some spring tension on the brass head.

Take the brass head off and set to the side on a rag or in a bucket. Dump out whatever oil is in the oil side, making sure not to drop the swash plate or bearing (the pieces sitting in the oil). Fill the oil end with aproximatly 4.5 ounces of Karcher pump oil, (or just 20w 50 weight non-detergent oil). Put the brass head back on and tighten bolts. Put the pump back on the machine.

If this helps please rate.

My 24o0 pressure washer pump has failed. Unbolted

Dear 1tindy,
You asked what the trick is. Well it is a trick, and in fact a big hasle. When a pump has failed it is never removed from the engine or from rhe electric motor(if electric motor driven.). To service the pump only the head and its components must be removed. When these are removed and the oil drained, you see a swash plate that is held down by a bolt. The swah plate could also be fitted by force fitting. After the swash plate there is an oil seal then a bearing. So if for a reason you must remove the pump from the engine you must do all these steps. In a few words....Remove head, remove piston holding head, drain oil, remove swash plate and finally the pump can be pulled away, but with some force,..because there are bearings. I wish to repeat that if the engine has no trouble, do not remove pump from engine. Just service or replace parts of the head of the pump.
Regards,
Fulltech.

Where can i put lubricating oil for karcher jet wash machine

It sounds like you are referring to the oil in the swash plate housing. You can use a multi grade motor oil such as 20w50 or 10w40. Fill to about half way over the swash plate. If the old oil has gone amilky colour, please replace the oil seals first.
