Cups measure volume , you wish to measure weight. Try 100 ml equivalent , or a tiny bit more. 100ml is just over 3 ounces of liquid equivalent. In theory one ml is the same as 1 gram but the measure is for liquid. (water I think) A teaspoon full is about 5ml/5 grams. Slightly over the 100ml mark is a very rough estimate. A weighing scale really would be better

Grams is a weight measure. A cup is a volume measure. You'll need to use a scale.

How many cups is 100g of sugar

1/2 cup

Here is how volume/weight conversions work. A gram is a unit of weight. A cup is a unit of volume. Volume is the amount of space an ingredient occupies and weight is the mass or "heaviness" of an ingredient.

500 grams of mini marshmallows = 10 cups
500 grams of flour = 4 cups
500 grams of sugar = 2.5 cups

As you can see, the weight for these ingredients are the same, yet the volumes are different. This is because each ingredient has a different density.

Here is another example:
A cup of feathers and a cup of lead pellets both occupy 8 fluid ounces of volume. The feathers will weigh a lot less than 8 ounces on a scale and the lead will weigh a lot more than 8 ounces on a scale.

Asking how many cups equal 100 grams would be the same as asking how many hours are in a 100 inches. Volume and weight are two completely different measurement systems... just as time and length are two different measurement systems. The only difference is that volume and weight can be linked through density.... mathematically speaking. Density = Mass divided by Volume. Density can change for the same ingredient. For example, a cup of sifted flour will weigh a lot less than a cup of unsifted flour. A pint of water will vary in weight depending on the temperature of the water.

There are websites that do volume/weight conversions based on density. Two great websites are:
http://www.onlineconversion.com and
http://www.gourmetsleuth.com or, you can look in a cookbook that has a volume/weight equivalency chart.

300g of cornflour = how many cups

See this site for convertor:
Cornflour maize cornstarch converter Convert to units and culinary measures

It's 2 cups.

This is not a direct conversion, but rather an empirical measure resulting from tests.
Grams is a weight measure and cups is a volume measure - clearly there can be no direct conversion.
300 grams of steel is far far less than 2 cups and conversely, 2 cups of steel is much more than 300 grams.

925 grams equivalent in how many cups

Grams are a weight measurement, but cups are a volume measurement. There is no direct equivalent. To convert from weight to volume, you will need a conversion factor determined by the material's density.

50 grams = how many cups

That depends on what you have 50 grams of. Cup is a measure of volume while gram is a measure of mass (or weight).

50 grams of water is about 0.21 cups. 50 grams of gold is about 0.016 cups.

1 cup is to how many grams?

A cup is a measure of volume, but a gram is a measure of mass.

Depending on the density of the material you are going to have in the cup, the weight in grams of the material will vary. For example, if you fill the cup with lead, the cup will weigh much more than if you fill with feathers.
This question would be similar to asking how much does a 6 foot person weigh. It depends on the person of course. A cup of water will weigh more than a cup of flour.

Examples:

Granulated sugar: 1 cup = 200 grams
Brown sugar: 1 cup, packed = 220 grams
Sifted white flour: 1 cup = 125 grams
White rice, uncooked: 1 cup = 185 grams

How many cups are there in 650 grams of yogurt

Gram is a measure of weight; cup is a measure of volume--so this can only be determined by weighing 650 grams of yoghurt (about 23 ounces) and pouring it into a measuring cup.
