We have a wharfdale LCD 42F1080P television which is just past its year guarentee and seems to be not reponding and does not work with the freeview and the remote control freezes any ideas?

Hello. I've just acquired one of these TVs. There is no freeview on this model. However there are Scart and HD connections so it's easy to plug in a freeview or FTA Satellite receiver.
The Wharfdale Machine that has Freeview has an F on the end ie vdrhd400f. It may be yours is an analogue version. Always possible that you can use the TV as an output via a scart to record what you are watchin
