Is windows internet explorer 8 the same as microsoft internet explorer 8

Restoring Computer to earlier state is the best solution. Only update the Internet explorer by using online updates that is downloaded from Microsoft website. WebRepOverall ratingThis site has no rating(not enough votes)

Also try to update the drivers that control your PC.

If problem still occurs then use system utility tool PCFresher that will fix windows internal errors and will fix corrupt registry errors.

Windows Internet Explorer 9 has been installed as a system update in the operating system, and as such can be removed from the Uninstall an update control panel menu.
To get there click the start orb in the lower left corner of the screen, and then Control Panel in the right menu.
Locate Uninstall a program in the Control Panel and click on the entry. To uninstall Internet Explorer 9 click the View Installed Updates link in the upper left corner of the screen. This opens a listing of Microsoft updates that have been installed on the computer system.
Right-click on Windows Internet Explorer 9 and select uninstall from the context menu.
To complete the uninstallation, the computer needs to be restarted in the end.
After restart ur pc Run reginout cleaner to clean it's registry files

How to fix That problem

Click On Start --> Control Panel --> Add Or Remove Programs --> Make Sure That The Show Updates Box On Top Of The Window Is Checked --> Find WINDOWS INTERNET EXPLORER 8 --> Click On Remove In Front Of It.

WINDOWS INTERNET EXPLORER 8 would be removed and will ask u to restart your system so kindly do that...

After The System Restarts, Follow These steps To Check Whether It Has Removed Windows Internet Explorer 7 as well and if it has you would not see WINDOWS INTERNET EXPLORER 7.

As Internet Explorer 6 Is Integral Part Of Windows XP You Won't See It In Control Panel.

If WINDOWS INTERNET EXPLORER 7 is removed then click the link below and download and install WINDOWS INTERNET EXPLORER 7..

Click Here To Download Internet Explorer 7

In Case You Wish To Download Any Other Version Of Internet Explorer Then See Right Hand Side In The Green Pane And Click any Version Which you Want And Download And Install It From The Same Link As Given Above...
