I have a market forge m36g300 commercial steamer...bottom compartment keeps filling with water and wont drain unless the machine is shut down...any answers?

Unfortunately, commercial equipment needs professional servicing. It could be that two much water is being added, or some steamers have a drain pump that is operated by a water level switch. I looked online and could find nothing relevant, just sales literature, parts and manuals. The company Katom are very invasive. I went to their site to checks specs yesterday and got a 'How can we help you' email this morning!!

4sp to 4sp? see O.D lamp?

Location of over drive relay

3speed trans or 4sp?
only 4sp has OD.
there are 2 things, 1 is overdrive, and other is TCC lookup
Torque converter Clutch lockup,
the TCC relay is in the group of relays, in front of battery
the 0D is inside the tranmission bottom (above the oil pan)

did you use a scan tool and get DTC errors. P07xx? if yes what?
OD lamp flashes funnY?
or did you FEEL OD fail.?

the bottom shift solenoid logic,
1st --------2nd-----3rd -------- 4th
sol1--12v--- 12v---0v------------ 0v

ol2 -- 0v --- 12v-----12v----------- 0v
this is the logic of the shifter connector
if you see 0v on both , its in )D, and of OD is dead (4thgear)
the the tranny is bad.

Repair tranmission auto

98! 1.6L or 1.8L engine (sport)?????????????
never seen that ever. where did you see those words?
my wild guess is this car is the 4sp A/T (electronic shifted TCM)
transmission, right? (they sold these with 3,4,5peed boxes)
all work different.
this car the ECU/PCM does the 4speed shifting,
and sets DTC;'s when the tranny messes up.

you see OD flash.?
or CEL glow running
we plug in the cheap $9 scan tool (ask) and see P07xxx
DTC error cords, P07 means bad trans.
post the DTCs. and post the driving symptoms.

then we can talk.

first thing clean battery connectors an post with baking soda an water solution an a piece of sand paper to get any rust off,keeping cables disconnected,next go under truck to where the starter is,an disconect the battery cable wire from starter an clean with sandpaper to get any debris off,check wires for cracks in the plastic covering,an check all wires leading from starter to battery an selenoid,another solution take hammer an hit starter a few times not to hard then try starting truck if that works it means you have a dead spot in your starter an need to replace it which is not hard.

1993 chevy silverado 4x4 4.3 4sp. clutch issue

somthing is leaaking down then from what your desribing. probably the slave is it leaking fluid into the bellhousing?? these do trap air badly too because the bleeder is on the rear of the slave and it runs down hill with the drive train. jack the rear of truck as high as possible to get the air to rise to bleeder and bleed again

1991 impulse xs 4sp auto: oil pressure/losof eng pwr /surge ?

Definitely have a mechanical gauge put on your engine to check real pressure If it's as high as you think it is, you can blow up the oil filter (and loose engine) It may turn out to be a simple item like an oil sending unit. But don't assume anytng 'till its verified!The other item is not as critical as the pressure problem and at this point may or may not be related.

Transmision

Hi joshdwright, is your trans a AW-4 or a 46RH? the 46RH was set behind the 5.2L engine and is a 4sp/od and the AW-4 is an electronically controlled 4sp automatic. start simple check that trans oil level is good then if you have the AW-4 make sure the the shift cable adjustment is correct/on the 46RH make sure the linkage is assembled properly, after these checks things get a little more complicated so get back to me and let me know what you found out buddy we'll go from there good luck
