SOURCE: no surround sound

So your saying that you have no rear channel. Some recivers use a single stereo output ic for both sides on the rear speakers. you could have a defect with this IC . Anther thing Im sure you check3ed the obvious ie : the switch is on suround sound? If there is a front to rear fader is it in the middle? Good Luck

SOURCE: Sound not coming from left side surround sound speaker or my right side front speaker

it is highly likely that you're TV is outputting mono sound, hence the left channel only. check your physical connections to the TV and the balance / channel volume on the television as well.

SOURCE: Denon AVR 2807 with Bose Acoustimass 15

Well,i can tell you are not very focus, cause you posted Denon AVR-2807 with Bose AC 15 problem, but under your details, you put down AVR-5807!
First of all,it is so unfortunate that you are NOT able to gain and experience to true ability in sound for this wonderful receiver when you are using a dual tweeters speakers and expect to have good sound separation as a TWO WAY speakers(a tweeter and a midrange-for true high frequency and mid frequency sound separation.)
Secondly, you have defeated the audio configuration of the Denon AVR-2807,since all your speakers are control BY the Bose subwoofer.
Now,i could show you a way to hook this up,and it doesn't matter how you connect them, they are the "bicycle tires" installed with a "Porche"engine if you know what i mean.
If you want a good recommendation for your "beast",i will more than happy to show you the way!
Cheers,

SOURCE: Center and surround speakers work, but front right and front left speakers do not put out any sound

I had the same problem. Set the reciever on 6 channel stereo. On this setting, you should be getting the same sound out of each speaker. Isolate which speakers aren't getting sound. Now, on your speaker switch (the A/B button), select A. If that doesn't fix it, select B. If that doesn't fix it, try A and B (if you can on your reciever).

Now, when you switch back to pro-logic, make sure your a/b channel switch is in the position that worked in 6 channel stereo. Yamaha recievers have a memory, and when you switch various modes, it makes auto adjustments based on what you had set in the past.

Hope this helps

SOURCE: I have a Fisher RS-717 stereo receiver, amplifier.

Yes you can use either A or B without a problem. The restriction is when you have both A & B connected. In that case, the speakers MUST be a minimum of 8 Ohm impedence. Using either A or B, you can use speakers of 4 Ohms impedence.

1981 LTD 750. What is the firing order?

The left coil goes to 2&3, the right coil goes to 1&4. This is as sitting on the bike cylinders from left to right 1,2,3,4. It doesn't matter which is connected to which cylinder (upper or lower on the coil) as long as left coil is connected to 2 and 3 and right is 1 and 4 as above. Once it is running correctly I would recommend marking the leads 1-4. This is done as standard at factory, but replacement parts don't always do this.

Hi i have a rotel ra-610 amplifier and am having intermitent static on the right hand channel only how do igo about fixing it?

I would prod and poke the channel with an insulated screwdriver this will cause buzz sounds. This should find the cause of the problem. Remember that the left hand channel is identical so you can compare the right with the left. For example if you get a weird buzz on the right when you touch it, but not on the left at the same point you might have found the faulty part.
Don't go near the power supply section as it's nothing to do with that the fault.

HALLO I HAVE A ROTEL RA 9858X AND AGTER PLAYING FOR A FEW MINUTES I LOSE THE RIGHT SPEAKER CHANEL

Try interchanging the speakers. If the right channel works, you have a problem with your speaker.

Belt keeps sliding from side to side

You have not properly aligned and / or adjusted the tension. If it is SLIDING then you do not have enough Rear Tension. Once you get the right amount of REAR TENSION, then you have to adjust the left right (balance the belt). Your belt should go straight, right now you have it too far to the FRAYED SIDE. Turn the Machine on, have your Hex Wrench in the Bolt and turn it slowly CW and as the belt come back to Center, watch the adjustment. If it continues to go past, then loosen it a little until you have the right balance. Remember REAR TENSION FIRST... THEN BALANCE for Alignment

I dont kno the wiring colors for my 2000 taurus radio

All you need to do is get the power, ground, and antenna hooked up then start with two colors matching, example: one purple and one black with purple line hook those up to a matching speaker wire then turn stereo on and go to balance setting choose back left if speaker does not sound then go back right and if speaker does not sound then try front speaker right and then left once you find correct speaker move on to next two matching remember to. Mark wires FL or fr or bl or back right. Good luck

Just need to know how to hook up proper for stereo sound

start with the right speaker, that is you control for now. plug in the power supply one end to the wall the other to the right speaker, connect the left and right speakers, connect the sub woofer to the right speaker, (most of the plug and sockets are color coded, or at least different sockets sizes so they will only fit properly with the correct connector) now you should have one wire left coming out of the right speaker-that gets connected into the GREEN socket of you computer.
Now you should get sound...good it works.
From here we go to START->SETTINGS->CONTROL PANEL->RIGHT CLICK ON SOUND AND AUDIO DEVICES->VOLUME TAB->ADVANCE (TO THE RIGHT OF SPEAKER VOLUME->SPEAKER SETUP->FOR THE DROP DOWN ARROW SELECT DESKTOP STEREO SPEAKER->APPLY->OK
And that my friend is properly done.
enjoy,,, please leave a rating, thank you
