I have a honeywell focus pro 6000 temp in house doesnt change unit runs constatly. thermostat says 78 thermomiter on other end of house says 72. changed batteries

It's possible you have a lot of dust build up inside the stat. If it has batteries remove face from wall and blow out. Take outside to see if temp will change. Plug the hole in the wall where the wire comes through. If all fails, replace. Turn power off, take wiring picture, replace, turn power on. Good Luck!!

Samsung ES-17 power problem

This could be a battery problem, as the camera draws more power when switched on, to work the lens and focusing. Try changing the batteries. If its still a problem, you have a camera fault.

I changed my batteries, but I am still not getting anything when I turn my camera on.

If you can use external power source, try and see if the camera takes pictures. If it does, try cleaning the battery contacts.
If both external and battery power do not take pictures, then something is is wrong inside the camera.

I have a Canon Power Shot. I turn it on and then

Try a different battery anyway. I had the same problem with a Kodak a couple years ago. I put in a new battery and it started working fine.

Camera won't stay on

Are you still using alkaline batteries? If so, alkaline batteries just don't have the power for more than a few pictures in a digital camera. Some may also have reached their shelf life, and though right out of the package may even have problems just powering startup of the camera. Digital cameras that use AA's for the most part should only be used with rechargeable NiMH batteries. If you read the camera's instruction manual concerning batteries, you may see the same recommendation.

Keep in mind rechargeable NiMH batteries will save you money in the long run over alkalines, AND they'll last for at least 100 pictures per charge (and probably many many more). You'll be very pleased with their performance, and may be angry with yourself for not buying them sooner. When at the store, look on the package for a power rating of at least 2500 mah.

No picture on screen after 1 second

Try this. Go to your tools menu, look for something like power saver or display off and change the duration that the screen stays on.

Olympus Stylus 730 shuts off after few seconds. Battery is fully charged, tried a resetting: no change.

To save battery power, the camera automatically goes into sleep mode and the monitor turns off if there is no operation when the camera is turned on (when the lens cover opens and the monitor is on). No picture is taken even if the shutter button is fully pressed in this mode.
Operate the zoom lever or other buttons to restore the camera from sleep mode before taking a picture. If the camera is left for 15 minutes, it automatically turns off (the lens cover closes and the monitor turns off). Press POWER to turn the camera on.

Epson 3100Z battery life/power consumption

I have only had my 3100Z for about 3 months but I have found the battery life outstanding. I have the NI-MH batteries and haven't actually counted the number of pictures I take between chargings but it seems as if it is 200 or more. I also have many menu changes, view the photos in the camera and leave it on between shots. I also have sleep set for 30 seconds. I have actually never run the batteries down but recharged them twice in anticipation of needing plenty of power when I planned to take a lot of pictures. I'm guessing that you might have some faulty batteries.
