Rode Nt1a Beep Sound

Hello, i have a problem with my microphone. :D When i talk, this(at the bottom line) sound appears under my voice. What should i do about this problem? It depends on my XLR cable? Thanks. Beep Sound: http://soundcloud.com/berkliballi/caydanlik Sound Card: Roland Tri-Capture

A beep is an error or warning

nothing to do with cables
if it crackles cracks or rumbles then the mic cable is bad....

Does the background sound get louder or fainter when you change the mic gain on your mixer? If it depends on your XLR cable, it may be radio interference, and you need to make sure you use top quality shielded cable, and that you're wired "balanced".

My Rode NT1a stopped working. I checked preamps

Repair of this mic is not something you can do yourself. This sort of failure is common, and I can repair it.

I have an rode nt1-a microphone, roland quad capture interface, but when im gonna record or put the input level i hear wind, i turn down the input volume all the way down, i still see the input signal

The Rode NT1A mic is a condenser mic and therefore it REQUIRES that "phantom" power be supplied by the mixer or amplifier. You will get only electronic "noise" if the mic is not receiving this power. Look up Phantom power to understand it. Essentially DC power is sent up the mic cable between the signal lines and the shield of the cable and is used by the electronics in the mic to amplify the signal from the condenser element.

I got a pre-amp (Focusrite Platinum Trakmaster Pro) with phantom +48v. i got an M-Audiophile 2496 installed to the comp. and a mic Rode nt1A. Eveything is plugged in and installed and iv'e...

the process of elimation will help you to solve your issue. first plug the rode nt1 (great mic by the way), into a good pa head or something you know works, of course you will need to have a pa that gives you phantom power. if the mic works then move on to the preamp. try it in the pa too, if it works move on to the m-audiophle and plug a line level signal into it (a cd player or mp3 player for instance) it this works then you have determined that everything works and you don't actully have a problem other than switching, Also try plugging your mic into the M-audiophle directly and see if thaat works ( don't know if that provides the 48 volts, if it doesn't than you will have to get a phantom supply to plug into first. good luck

No sound being picked up when connected, may be as I am using a xlr to usb connection and the power is coming off a laptop , how would I fix this? Thanks

The Rode NT1A requires phantom power of 24-48volts DC. The USB socket on your laptop will only supply 4.5volts.
The solution will be to buy a separate power supply or to connect it to your computer through a mixer that includes a phantom power supply option.

I have been using my nt1a 4 a yr now... i would always keep it in the box along with the moisture absorbing crystals supplied at the head of the mic. it was working just fine... a month ago i didnt keep...

Most likely, this is typical component failure. After a year, which is the average lifespan of Chinese components, failures like this become increasingly common. The mic will have to be professionally serviced.

When i record my voice with rode NTA 1.That time a noise is starting like pop sound from the mic . and that is for long time. so what i ll do?

Make sure that the jack is in securely. Move the cord around to make sure the cord is not shorted by wiggling it around. Make sure mic is not close to any speakers and get a screen which will help alot.

My Rode NT1a is not working, I have checked the phantom power and all cables which are ok.

If it is under warranty, I recommend sending it to Rode for repair. Otherwise, I can service any Rode mic. Condenser Microphone Mod Service
