In some cases it is a simple adjustment of the Levelers. Use a flat level device to check the levels from front to back and side to side. Make certain the Washer and Dryer have a space between them and they do not bang into one another.
Most times with Hotpoint the inner drum becomes loose due to faulty Bearings ....Also the concrete weights bottom ,becomes loose and Noisy....some times one of the small top springs snap.....Hope this helps
Remove drive belt, and spin drum by hand, if it feels rough or noisy, then the main drum bearings are worn.
If no noise from drum, could be a motor prob.
Please rate ,my solution.
Thanks.
washer making a load cluck noise when the spin cycle starts. It only happens when the motor turns slow for the first minute during the spin cycle. Otherwise it works fine. if the motor is proper then the bearings in the motor got rusted and that needs replacement.the beasrings are located on the back of the motor.
