I don’t believe the remote tstat accepts those functions to change the fan speed versus using the on board controls. Try to change the fan speed while using the on board controls and when you have that setup then go back and change it to remote tstat setting.
There should be a fan symbol on your remote control. In the "mode" control, there should be the following options.. Heat, cool, Auto and fan. If you select fan, only the fan will run. No heating or cooling.
How do you get it to kick in ?.Fid you spin it by hand ,if that's what you did and fan runs then you have a bad capicator. If fan runs fine in cooling and not in heat then you have a bad board
You need to use a fan relay with one normally open and one normally closed contact. Run Hi speed (cool) through the normally open contact. Run Lo speed (heat) through the normally open contact of the sequencer and then through the normally closed contact of the fan relay. Make sure your thermostat isn't energizing the fan relay in heat and cool modes. If it is you can switch the heat option switch to Gas instead of electric on the back of the T'Stat and the fan relay will only energize in Cool mode
most time coolant temperature sensor faulty.but check cooling fan fuse and relay.then hot wire the cooling fan if fan runs.problem in the fan wiring or pcm.if every thing else okay.if cooling fan dont run when hot wired the cooling fan need replacing fan motor has internal open winding circuit.
You have a bad board or bad switch. I would say board. You can have service tech check this out. There is only so far you can go without knowledge of Controls ad electricity. Russ
Its necessary to run cooling fan because Amplifiers in home theater system produce heat during its operation. If you shut down cooling fan, Amplifier ICs may be damaged due to over heat.
