Frigidaire gallery wall convection oven (FEB386WECH) and it broils but the bake element will not get hot.

Part F161 is the Convection Element. Check it for continuity with a multimeter and also check the connection tags to it as they can melt.

If you have been using the self clean feature, you have probably burned out or damaged the connections to the fan and the convection fan element or thermistor. NEVER EVER use the self clean feature.

If both your bake and broil element does not work, then there might be a problem with the wiring communication. However, if the oven does not bake and/or broil but the cook top works; contact a professional to diagnose the EOC (electronic oven control).

it could be the oven temp sensor rod located near the top of the inside of the oven,or possibly the bake element has a hot spot on the element and can no longer pass enough current thru this spot to correctly heat to your settings a hot spot on the element will look discolored in this area

The clock control has a relay that turns on the element. It could be failed and would require a new clock control.
