hi... The inside of the disc player is probably dusty. Video game consoles are notorious for gathering dust. I've fixed dozens that way. Cleaning inside the drive
unfortunately your bluray laser has probably failed. the diode burns
out quickly on these older units. call sony they charge 150 or send it
to me for 100..24hr turnaround
