No Spark can be one of 3 faults.
The wire to the spark plug is either shorted somewhere along its length. An open circuit along the wire coming out of the magneto or
the magneto is not generating a spark.
Best way to test for a spark is to use a neon test lamp.
Hold one end and bring the other end close to high voltage wire under test. Test on your running car first.
Trace the HV wire back to the magneto on side of engine. rotate engine by hand to get magneto to generate a current. Remove spark plug to allow engine to rotate easier without compression.
The high voltage is generated from a coil inside magneto assembly.
Good Luck

open front door pull main lever down and remove the small assy. with a small handel sticking out, replace the two very thin wires and the two end parts normally white try this site for parts as a start
short on HV wire or electrode. >> remove HV wire from electrode and check spark from end of wire to frame, if its ok, then electrode porcelain might be cracked.
If the deflection power board was changed with a known good one . then the HV splitter block would be suspect then followed by a bad CRT next. I would try removing one CRT drive board at a time by letting it hang free wires attached then trying to power up the set if it doesnt power up then try one of the other crt drive boards after reattaching the one you previously unhooked. If the set powers up if any certain CRT board is removed you will know the problem is that CRT. If it doesnt power up then its most likely the HV splitter. You can get replacement CRTs, boards and HV splitters that have warranties from www.tvrepairworld.com
The wire comes out by pressing the two tabs in and pulling real hard, You will be happy to know that the replacement IHVT comes with a HV cable since 9 time out of 10 you end up damaging the IHVT cable connection. In any event before checking the IHVT I would suggest looking at CP150, CP120 and CP140 to see if they are puffy, since this is a common problem in this set.
yes just label any wires you disconnect then remove the screws holding the circuit board in (six screws) then remove the board very easy the hardest is getting the HV cable out of the splitter but it will come out with pliers twisting it 90 degrees put tape on the plkiers so you dont hurt the HV cable ( Large red wire)
The picture tube can hold a charge.with a jumper connect one end to the ground wire around the picture tub. attach the other end to a screw driver and push it under the red cap on the picture tub. that will discharge it.. Remove the transformer from the board by disordering all connections. Insert the new fly and solder. from the old transformer follow the two leads on the side to the screen board at the picture tube. one at a time connect the new transformer leads to the socket and board. part number for the FBT 259296 $50.39 from www.theparts store
