To connect your Iphone to home wifi you should go into the 'Settings' app then there should be a option where you can click on 'Wi-Fi'. If the wifi is on you should see green next to wifi. Under 'Choose a network' select your home wifi. If it is password protected it will ask you to put in your password, if not it should automatically connect.

Cant connect to my dlink cameras at home get (error 0.70_0_2_7_70_) but when im home i can connect to them. i was able to connect to them before

Same here. My wife's iOS hasn't been updated, but mine has. Only my phone (iPhone 6s, iOS 10.2) cannot connect when it's NOT on wifi. I am guessing when the app is updated to accommodate it, it will work again. Nothing that can be fixed by ourselves for now...

How do I get my iPhone to recognize my new Linksys router.

passwords are case sensitive, so the problem is possibly just that you have capitals in the password and these are not specifies when entering the password into the iPhone

Iphone 4s no network coverage at home

By no network coverage do you mean no cellular signal or can't connect to your home wifi? If wifi trouble push settings button on iphone. Select and turn on wifi. It will search for available wireless networks. Choose your home wifi, should be the strongest signal, most bars. If you don't know your ssid , look on the sticker on the modem. For instance ssid at&t 2345. Once you select your ssid you need to enter password which is also found on the sticker on modem. Enter password and select join. You should now be connected to your wifi. This will always reconnect automatically when you leave and come back home. If not wifi issue, are you just too far from cell tower to get good signal?

I phone 5

What Type/Brand of router ?????

Apple's iPhone is a multimedia connectivity tool.
As such, the iPhone employs a sophisticated system to keep you connected to the web via WiFi signals so that you can stay up to date with email, mapping and media.
To use the iPhone's WiFi feature just follow these steps.
Tap a network.
If you have not yet used your iPhone's WiFi or if you're in a new WiFi area, the iPhone will show you a list of available networks.
Tap the network that you want to connect to in order to connect.
If there is a password required a little lock icon appears.
Enter the password to connect to locked networks and continue to surf the web.
Monitor your signal.
As you use your iPhone, especially if you're moving around, you should take a look at the signal strength of the connection.
The strength is indicated by a small, black broadcast symbol that stacks arches, or rounded bars, on top of one another.
The more bars there are the better the signal.

Make connecting to WiFi automatic or manual.
The iPhone is equipped to automatically search for available networks and connect you to one.
If you do not want the phone to search for networks, select the "WiFi" option on the phone's menu.
Then select either the on or off option of the "Ask To Join Networks."
Turning this option off requires that you find networks manually.

Forget a network.
Once you connect to a WiFi network once the iPhone automatically remembers the network and connects you to it at a later opportunity.
To forget a network so you don't get automatically connected choose the "WiFi" option on the menu.
Then tap the right arrow button next to one of the networks that the iPhone already remembers. Then tap "Forget This Network" to erase the phone's memory of the network.

Troubleshoot Wi-Fi Connection Problems on an iPhone
If you experience Wi-Fi connectivity issues on your iPhone, you may need to reset the Wi-Fi connection.
Your connectivity issues could be caused by the wrong password if you are having trouble logging into the Wi-Fi network or from a problem in your iPhone's settings.
By resetting the Wi-Fi connection, you are clearing out the previous settings created when you first connected to the network.

Tap the Settings icon on the iPhone's home screen, and tap the Wi-Fi tab.
Swipe the switch on the Wi-Fi tab to ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on your iPhone.
Tap the blue arrow button on the network tab you are connected to in the network list, and tap "Forget this Network."
Tap the "Forget Network" button that appears on the pop-up menu to confirm the action.

Tap the Wi-Fi Networks tab in the upper-left corner to return to the previous screen, and tap the network's tab in the network list to re-join it.
Press the Home button on the iPhone, and tap the Safari icon on the home screen to test the Wi-Fi connection.
Tap the blue arrow icon on the network's tab if the connectivity problem persists, and tap the "Renew Lease" button at the bottom of the network's window.
Tap the "Renew Lease" button on the pop-up box to confirm the action.
Tap the Home button on the iPhone, and tap the Safari icon on the home screen to test the network connection.

The phone used to connect to the internet with wifi and 3G. Now it only works with 3G. It sees the wifi network, but says that it cannot connect to this network. It does this on every network I have tried...

If your looking to use only wifi at times. You need to go into the setting and shut off the 3g data and have only the wifi option active.

Cellular data over rules wifi at all times. That's their little trick at getting you to use up all your data plan.

Here's the steps:

1. Go to Settings
2. Scroll to Network
3. Cellular Data - slid to OFF
4. Tap General on the top left
5. Tap Settings on the top left
6. Scroll up to Wifi and tap
7. Make sure Wifi is on and finding networks.
(Note: Only networks without the lock are public networks unless you know the pass code to log on)
8. Make sure Ask To Join Networks is to OFF
9. Click the arrow blue arrow on the network you connect too and make sure HTTP Proxy is set to OFF
10. You should Connect just fine

To reverse this and go back to Cellular data. Follow instructions 1 - 5 except you wanna turn Cellular Data back On.
