Does not detect

Windows Media player should detect it. Try firing up WMP and then plug in your player. If that doesn't work, try updating WMP while the players connected? If that doesn't work. Do you have the updater installed? Might help.

I can't connect the product with my pc.

If you are running Vista, go to sandisk's website and download the updated, Vista-compatible software for the model.

Make sure you have the software that came with it installed.

Other methods:

Use Windows Media Player to transfer files.

Open My Computer Open 'Sansa', If you can view your files; you can drag new ones in.

If that didn't help reply with more info

Good luck, please rate.

Sansa C250 not recognised

The Sansa C250 doesn't have a setting on the player to put it into USB, or MSC mode.

By default, it's always in MTP mode (Microsofts slow and crappy DRM enabled protocol).

You can force the player to connect to your computer by doing these 3 things:

1. Ensure that your player is OFF.

2. Set the Hold slider to LOCKed.

3. While holdind the "<<", (LEFT or Previous) button down, connect the c250 to your computer via the USB cord.

You should now see 2 new drives in your "My Computer" window. One drive is the c250's internal memory, and the other is it's microSD slot.
