You may have to check the pump unit for obstruction
the impellers are known to wear from abrasion from sand in the water and not operate efficiently.

Hi, where is the pump unit. When I started getting this power issue, My girlfriend ran up on a sandbank just under the water and i know it pulled a bit of sand through the bottom and then got off the sand bar but its not been right since, Ive checked the bottom, taken the intake plate off and inspected it for rocks or any other obstruction but cant find anything blocking it.

the pump will be on the end of the motor crank shaft
it could be a direct coupling or a small shaft with the pump separate
the pump is a centrifugal pump with a series of vanes and diffuses inside it to increase propulsion
if it was on a bank then any number of items could have been sucked up and damaged the vanes or diffusers
have it checked out by a specialist jet propulsion service center

My 1997 Jimmy runs fine in idle when I take off the vechile is fine until it reaches 20 mph it won't accelerate and the rpms increase up to 3000 but no speed. What's wrong it's a 4 wheel d

Sounds like 2nd gear in the transmission is slipping. Cars usually shift at 15-20 mph from first to 2nd. First check the trans fluid.

Will the bad waterpump on a 2003 pontiac aztek cause the temperature to overheat sometimes but run good others?

the water pump is working
the problem indicates blocked radiator cores preventing full flow at high rpm
have it flow tested by an accredited radiator shop or just fit a new radiator

Bracket causes water to roostertail. Depth reading are erratic and incorrect. Very poor. I've had it for 4 months and it's never worked good I have moved location of transponder No affect

Call Humminbird and explain the problem you are having with the rooster tail. They sent me a free rubber piece that fills the gap between the transducer bracket and the transom of the boat. That solved my rooster tail problem.

2000 grand caravan won't go above 70 mph. high rpms

First I need to ask is it a 4 speed or a 3 speed transmission. If it's a 4 speed when driving down the road pull it from drive to third gear. You shpuld hear the engine speed up if it does not then that means you have on 4th gear and you will have to take it to a transmission shop. If it's a 3 speed then just count the shift points if all 3 gears are present then drive down the road and see if the van goes into tcc. When you mean the rpms are high how high are they.

Rooster tail is not shooting high

If the waverunner is performing normally as far as throttle response and top speed, then the rooster tail not shooting as high as it used to indicates there is a restriction in the nozzle for the rooster tail, not a problem with the ski. Unbolt the rooster tail nozzle from the steering nozzle and inspect it for debris.
