Try turning it on with the battery removed while it is connected to the charger.
if it turns on fine then, it's a battery issue. if it still doesn't come on, i would recommend reinstalling the device software with the desktop manager software. both are available on blackberry.com

I have a bb 8320 and when i plug it into the wall it charges but when i plug it into my laptop nothing happens why is that?

If your regular charger is working in the wall, it sounds like the USB cord that you are using with your computer isn't a "charging" USB. I don't think you are having a malfunction with your BB.

Every time i turn on my blackberry 8320 it says battery drained.

It is the main board. If you have phone insurance through your carrier they should be able to replace it. Otherwise there is not much you can do aside from purchase of a new phone.

Don't have bb messenger on curve 8320

BB messenger is always there, perhaps the icon is hidden. On the application screen, press the menu key and select Show All, see if it is there and select it and choose to unhide it.

8320 shuts down in the middle of calls or rather does a restart as if you press alt shift delete keys. Only happens when talking on the phone. Happened maybe once a month for the first few months and...

Once the BB 8320 shuts down in the middle of calls, more likely it's the battery. There were times that you would see that the battery is fully charged, but once the call comes in, the battery is starting to discharge quickly and unexpectedly.

And after it dies, it would try to re-gain a small amount of power. But you need to isolate the problem, try using different battery to test it. Some repair shops let customers use their spare batteries for testing purposes.

Or contact Blackberry manufacturer for second opinion.

Have a great day!

Blackberry curve 8320 wont charge? Keep sayin battery drained, shutting down handheld

Have you tried different chargers?
It's either the voltage regulator in your curve or a very weak almost dead battery.
You can test the batt if you have a friend with a curve, swap batteries in your phones and if yours works again and his does what yours did, get a new battery and all is well. If yours keeps acting up with the swapped battery, it may be time to get a new phone.

My Blackberry curve 8320 won't turn on it just has a battery icon with a red line through it on screen. A new battery was tried and the problem still exists.

This usually means the bb and battery got a little wet or has other issues. Try these solutions in order. They go from easisest to hardest. NOTE: If you have an insurance policy on the bb probably best just to take it in.

1. Remove the back cover. Remove the battery and the SIM card. Wait 30 seconds. Replace SIM, battery and back cover. Reboot. Plug in the bb and charge fully.

2. If that doesn't work, allow the bb to remain unplugged but ON for about 24 hours to drain the battery. Remove back cover and battery. Allow battery and opened bb to sit in a dry environment for 24 - 36 hours. Relace battery and cover. Reboot. Plug in the bb and charge fully.

3. If that fails, retry step 2 but allow battery to FULLY drain then dry out again.

4. Take in to cell store.

4. Take in.

  3. Connect your BlackBerry device to the computer.

Jvm error 547 blackberry 8320

try running app loader again but before you connect your phone up to the computer pull the battery out, then connect the phone, then put the battery back in. A lot of times it will force the connection to get established and then you should be able to run app loader.
