Guys, I foolishly and relying on my memory took, and put in archive the folder in Outlook 2007 with incoming emails and set a password. Now I can not open this folder. What do I do now? I just don't know what are the ways to recover the password. Maybe someone has already solved this problem? I would be very grateful for any advice!

Outlook Repair Set. Outlook repair solution is designed for repairing damaged email folders in Outlook and fixing email errors, caused by disk issues, file system problems and other errors.
You have several email address for corresponding with different recipieints such as friends and family.Things get annoying when all message end up in the same mailbox.creating individual folder for specific recipients makes navigation and archiving easy
you can instruct outlook to store the mails in different pst files depending on the sender's address .This also simplifies archiving different emails.start outlook and go to "tools">account settings .In the list of created account, select email address that will be need to be stored in the new PST files .click on "change folder". in the dialog that appears ,you can either select existing folder or create "outlook data files " and link it to the account .if you create a new pst files, select the storage type and click "ok" in dialog box that appears. if you have been using MS Outlook app for your email, the file extension is either .OST for a personal mailbox or .PST for a mail archive. If you search for either of those terms you should be able to narrow down your search. If it is your personal mailbox, it will be called outlook.ost.
Your OST file is usually located at C:\ Documents and Settings\ username\ Local Settings\ Application Data\ Microsoft\ Outlook\ outlook.ost.
Which password? If you are meaning the pst password. Close outlook go to control panel and then mail you should be able to do itin the settings against the data file
Depends if the emails were deleted from a web based email like hotmail or yahoo. If they were, the emails usually get moved to the trash folder after being deleted from the inbox. If they are deleted from the trash folder, than it is not possible to recover them. But if you have replied to any of the emails then you might have the message thread in your sent box for that particular email.
I use Outlook 2007 on vista OS so it may be a bit different to XP Mail or Outlook. The data for outlook (calendar, contacts, emails) is stored in a .pst file by default stored on your C Drive. So your deleted emails may or may not still be in this file. You can import the file to your outlook program to retrieve any old / archived emails that are stored in this file.
To find where your .pst file is stored on your computer, google a term like 'where is outlook .pst file on a windows xp os' or 'how do i find a .pst file on a windows xp computer'
The .pst files can be imported in outlook by going to 'File > Import and Export > Import from another file or program > Select the Personal Folder File .pst file.
This is how you get your emails back after they have been archived, or after your computer has been formatted, so if theres any chance of getting them back after being deleted when using outlook this method would be it. Hope it helps
