SOURCE: konica minolta EP2010 error code c05
I have a Konica Minolta CSPRO EP1054 (in the Middle East)
I accidentally plugged the EP1054 copier into a 110V outlet instead of
the 220V. Immediately the malfunction code (error code) of "C05"
appeared along with the "Call Tec Rep" indicator light (wrench).
I followed the instructions posted by "Soul Visitor" ... i.e., I found
the "Trouble Reset Switch" (not shown in the user manual) by opening
the upper back panel and pressing the small black button in the lower
right hand corner of the middle circuit board (green).
It worked perfectly!

one thing you can try since you have already removed the fuser you can probably do this but i would not recommend it unless you are familiar and comfortable with the components of the machine turn the copier off remove the back cover you will see in the middle of the machine a metal cover with 4 or 5 screws, behind this cover is the main board it has many wires going to it through out the machine...remove the cover so u can see the board and all its connectors on the board there should be a little black button... turn the machine on press this button and the code should reset. If the code does not reset then the thermistor or thermostats are bad and the fuser needs to be rebuilt. as for the password 8 zeros or 1-8 are the defult passwords for the machine. you can also try 1247....

After replacing the fuser unit, if you got a c0501 code you must open the front door where the toner is. On the right side (hinge side) next to the black toner and drum unit there is a plastic pannel/cover. In the lower portion of that pannel there is a hole where a trouble reset switch is loacted. With a flashlight you may be able to see it. You are ment to use a thin screw driver or the like to push the button. You do this while the machein is on and desplaying the code. As soon as you press the button the copier will clear the code and start warming up. Thats it! If you are un certin of the button placement you can take out three screws from the pannel and loosen one screw from the pannel above it and and pull the pannel off the unit. You will see the board and it is the button on the (left), as there are two of them. Tho you only have access to the one thru the cover.

The best way to reset the counter is to replace the fuse on the underside of the printer drum. That is not hard to do, but you have to be careful not to break the plastic tabs holding the original fuse in place.
