Replaced battery since it wasn't holding a charge. Has been plugged in for 24 hrs, still won't power on when unplugged from wall charger. What course of action should I attempt?

Camera powers on when connected to wall charger, and I am able to perform all functions as long as it's plugged into wall charger; takes pics, share, etc. I thought issues would be resolved since this is a brand new battery, but once it's unplugged from wall, it's as though the battery wasn't even charged.

Possibly the charger itself is bad and only operating as a electrical connection/power cord for your camera. Try borrowing or buying another charger or take the camera to a local camera repair center or Best Buy, etc or contact customer service for your camera's manufacturer.
Hope this helps. Mike

SOURCE: Kodak DX6440 won't power up using batteries

There's a chance that the drop is irrelevant to your problem. You could try using a small eraser to clean the battery contacts down in the chamber (make sure to dump out any eraser particles) and try a new CRV-3 battery, which because of it's slightly longer body produces a little more pressure on the contacts. If that doesn't work to improve things then your cam might need a repair, your call there. Good luck

SOURCE: Kodak Easy Share DX 4530 won't hold charge any more.

Yes rechargeables need replacing from time to time (after a few hundred charges) or every couple of years.
You can use standard rechargeables but these wont charge on the dock as there is a little switch in the battery bay which the kodak pack presses.
Standard AAs ar'nt recommended for digital cameras but you should get at least a few shots from a new set of alkalines (maybe not if they are cheapo no Alkaline)

There could be another problem with the camera but if you like the camera its probably worth giving a new pack a try.
If I remember rightly (but check as I don't have a 4530 to hand) the battery you want is a KAA2HR and are available on ebay cheaply if you cant find a low cost one locally

If I can be of further help drop me a line

Best of luck

SOURCE: The camera doesn't open and it doesn't charge. It is dead.

I wonder if you attached the right voltage of charger.
Thats what I did. I put on a 9v dc charger
Now my v570 is dead......but ironically it will still charge a battery.
Now an expensive battery charger!

Charging your power chair or scooter the correct way can make them last

Whenever you need to charge your power chair or scooter get into the habit of charging overnight. The battery level indicator lights will tell you if your chair or scooter needs charging. Whenever the lights are down into the yellow and especially if they are in the red. If you have the off-board charger, plug the charger into the charger port in the front of your joystick and then plug the charger into the wall socket or turn the on/off switch on and let it charge overnight. When you get up in the morning the charger should have a red light(power) and a green light illuminated (indicating fully charged) Always turn the charger off or unplug it from the wall socket before you unplug it from the chair or scooter. Never have the power on to the charger when you plug or unplug it from your chair or scooter. Whenever you get new batteries always give your batteries a full charge before use and then if you use the chair daily charge it every night. If you do not use your chair or scooter daily charge it at least once a week. Never leave the charger plugged in and on for more than 24 hours. Your batteries should last you 3-4 years if you charge them correctly.

Nikon s6300 won't turn on

Coolpix Cameras are tricky to use with chargers. I will assume your USB Charger EH-69P is 100 - 240V 50/60 Hz so it CAN work in many places around the world with an adapter. Do not go over 240V or you could damage it.

These cameras like to have the power supply connected when it is on to charge - meaning if you have it connected and you plug the charger in the wall it will NOT charge. So if you plug the charger in the wall first and then plug the cable in the camera it will work. The camera is actually ON when it charges and I never REMOVE the memory card when it is ON.

When you have a dead battery. Plug the camera in and make sure the ON LED lights and the Charge LED flashes. Then don't mess with it. Let it charge completely (Charge LED stops flashing and is OFF) and then unplug it. It will turn off. Then later you can turn it on.

I have 2 batteries but some how i can not charge even i have left them 24 hrs to charge

Digital camera batteries are usually with an external battery charger.
The charger maybe faulty, the charge adapter will have a LED indicator to indicate that it is charging.

If the recharageable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

Not charging Acer Aspire 5732z, now won't turn on!

If it does not work with the Charger while the battery is out then I would say either your charger is bad, the dc power jack where the charger plugs into the laptop is bad or you've got motherboard issues. Does the charger have a light on it to indicate that it is on when plugged in the wall? Do you see any lights when you plug the charger into the laptop?

Take an ink pen and see if the little pin inside the computer where the charger plugs is loose and moves a bit. If so that is probably your problem. If the pin is tight and the charger works, then you've got motherboard issues.

Keep getting message that my battery in low, also laptop goes dead if not connected to cherger.

atteries have a limited life and most need to be replaced every 12 to 24 months. If that amount of time has lapsed since you've replaced the battery, or if damage was done to the battery, such as a spill or overheating, the battery may be dead Unplug the laptop from the wall charger. Remove the battery from the laptop. The battery is located on the underside of the laptop and usually slides out, or can be popped out by sliding the battery release buttons next to the battery.2 Dip a cotton swab in rubbing alcohol. Rub the cotton swab into the battery contacts to remove dirt and dust. Use a cloth dampened with water to wipe dust from the rest of the battery and battery housing unit. If dust is on the connectors, it can block or impede charging. Snap the battery back into place on the laptop.3 Plug the laptop wall charger into the wall. Plug the other end into the laptop. Allow the laptop to charge for 24 hours.4 Disconnect the laptop wall charger from the laptop. Turn the laptop on. If the laptop does not turn on, the battery did not charge, indicating the battery is dead. If the laptop turns on, but the battery lasts for a short period of time, this is a good indication that the battery is damaged or dying.

All that eans is that when you are charging the batteries you are unable to drive the chair. Its a safety feature to ensure that you won't accidently make the chair move with the charger plugged in. Just plug the charger into the charger port turn off the chair and then plug the charger into the wall charge overnight and in the morning unplug the charger from the wall and then from the joystick. Always have the charger off when plugging ang unplugging from the chair. With the M41 charger get a power strip with an on/off switch plug the charger into the strip and use the on/off switch to turn the charger on and off before you plug it into the chair Hope this helps you
