You will likely need to do a factory reset, how you do this depends on your tablet.

Google "factory reset (brand and model of tablet)"

anything that comes on a tablet ,pc ,laptop that is unknown should be deleted immediately without opening or viewing as this is a favorite back door entry for hackers

Type it on your phone and fix it : *#*#197328640#*#*. It is Engineering mode. Or, type *#*#0673#*#* OR *#*#0289#*#* for audio test.

Try resetting your wireless router that you are using to connect to the internet. (unplug the power for 5 minutes).
Also tell your tablet to disconnect from the internet and then Reconnect a few seconds later.

No drivers installed maybe? Find the Ptontotec website and see if the support page has drivers that need installing to your computer before Windows will recognise your tablety thing

Insert the SD card into the SD card slot on side of Tablet the correct way round. Taking note of the angled side of the card in relation to the diagram on the Tablet case. Start Tablet, go to settings, storage, scroll down to SD card & mount the card. Once the card is mounted it's ready to use. Remember to unmount the card before removal to reduce the risk of data loss. Hope this helps. Regards Bob

Bob again, if there's no pin hole in the case anywhere.Then it's a software driven reset. You need to hold certain keys down.

Do you mean that the PIN of the SIM card is locked?

The PIN is needed to access the SIM card.
If you remove the SIM card the tablet will not ask for a PIN.
You do not need to change anything in the tablet.
(If you would insert your SIM card in a phone, the same would happen when you launch the phone.)
